Maybe it's something as simple as an electrolyte imbalance. I'll hope that's all it is. Not much fun to have to go through with all the tests but at least you'll have an answer and some peace of mind.

Did you just have that one incident of passing out?
No I had had another one several years ago, didn't think anything of it, thought it was just one of my Meniere's episodes.

That's right,, the more the better. Hopefully it is something minor that just needs some tweaking, right? It has to be a good thing that you have been exercising more, sounds like you tolerate that well.

I know it can be frustrating to wait for those appts... just hang in there, stress only compounds everything,,, deep breaths,,, deep breaths,,,, ahhh, there you go... now isn't this better?? **hugs**

I think I've been researching to much and with not knowing "what" to research I'm on sensory overload!!

I'm ok with the MRI on Tuesday, I had a contrast MRI June of last year on my head. I'm more worried of the aftermath IF I should have to have a "procedure" any procedure...I'm a BIG Fraidie Cat!!

You'll be fine!

The worst part of the procedure for the Cardiac Cathe (if you have to have that done) was having two men shave my girl parts. I am actually very shy so... it was not a fun time. I had a problem after my CC because they made me laugh so I had lots of bleeding from my artery (which I still have a bruise from) but other than that... it was pretty ok. Well, IT looked like a giant eggplant with a weird landing strip but... . Maybe that was TMI! Hope it made you laugh though.

I will admit that I was afraid to have THAT procedure done though. Googling that was scary.

Hubby has been great through all of this, I didn't have him go with me to my 1st Dr. Appt, and needed him at my second, but again I thought I would be Fine, I really needed him afterwards though, when the Tech. told me I needed more Testing. He promises to come with me to ALL of my Appts. His Boss is so Great and Supportive, she's told him to just take care of me when ever he needs to be away from the office.

RJ, I'm glad your hubby is being so supportive... and that his boss is to. Just a thought, and this maybe stepping way outta bounds, but Ola mentioned she had two men ~strangers I presume~ shave her girl parts. If that is something that needs to happen to you, maybe your husband can do it for you instead of strangers. It might make you feel more comfortable... then again, if it were me & my husband (who's ADD/ADHD), I'd be less anxious having two strangers shave me cause at least they're trained professionals and would (hopefully) not get distracted and shave off something that wasn't supposed to be shaved... (uh, yeah, tmi!)~ All that said, you're in my thoughts and prayers too. Keep a positive attitude, ok? As I told my mom when her Doctor told her that there was a lump found on her mamogram & they were going to biopsy it... Mom, they're going on a treasure hunt! (and it turns out it's pre-cancerous, so she's having the lump removed before it becomes cancerous. All is good. I'm heading to FL on the 22nd to take her in for sugery and to help her afterwards... see, treasure hunts pay off!)

OK, now to jump in here and rebutt the rebuttals (tee hee)

MRI's are noisy... just pretend they're Afrikan Drumming sessions ... or some weird composition by Philip Glass... And we're all here for you if you have to have a procedure. You got your freebies!

Hey Gemmy, I'm so happy Dad is eating. You gotta let him know he's got a HUGE fan club of Freebies routing for him. Ray does too. In fact, if you think it might help either one of them, how about PMing all of us with addresses to mail get well cards to your Dad & Ray. Of course, you'll need the toothless wonder to shovel out your mail box so the mail can be delivered... Just one question there- if the mail box has to be shoveled out, and the mailman can't get out of his vehicle to put mail in the mail box, JUST HOW THE HECK DID THE NOTE GET IN THERE???

How did I come up with the toothless but otherwise good looking snow shoveling dude? Well, I was born & raised in PA... Spent my summers in Maine... Went to HS in Virginia... and came to TN for college and never left. I basically described every hick I've ever met. Usually good looking, built lean & mean and nicely muscled... is true eye candy, until he opens his mouth and there's not a damned tooth in his head. <sigh> Do y'all remember the Pepsi Delivery Guy commercials when all the girls in the office would run to the window every day around lunch, when the delivery guy would show up, deliver all the pepsi's and then be really hot, take off his shirt and open a pepsi and drink it... and all the girls would practically collapse in a pool of desire cause he was such a hunk! Man, I've met LOTS of guys like him... with no teeth. I wanna smack their mama's!

Nite Freebies!

BIG Hugs, RJ. My dad has had congestive heart failure since his cancer diagnosis (I swear the guy is actually the Energizer Bunny, but maybe in Marine Corps red, not pink.) He has had aortic (sp?) arrythmia (sp??) for a long time, so he needs "rebooting" as he puts it everyonce in a while. On top of that, he now lives with an embedded new-fangled pacemaker. At the same time, my mother in law has had valve replacement.

Oh ya...MRIs are noisy...but alas and alack - I've had so many of them, I now fall asleep in them each and every time!!

Need venting/hugs, you've obviously got the right friends/right place to do it!

Thanks UhOh!! I didn't want to minimalize what Gemmy is going through, that's got to be really tough with 2 Family Members in the Hospital at the same time. I'm just in the beginning stages of ?? and I thought if I shared my concerns someone might have experienced something similar. And share in the Freebie L@VE and Friendship that we have!!

Happy Valentine's Day and Kung Hei Fat Choi to All!!

RJ- I'm so sending you (((((((((HUGS))))))))) now...
My advise is to do EVERYTHING the docs say....

Ray had chest pains a few years back, he also wore the heart monitor for at least 2 weeks. Last year he had corrded artery surgery on his left side of the neck. He is doing awesome now but he does have to watch his diet and is on 3 kinds of meds for hight blood pressure and cholesterol. Since both the chest pains and the surgery, he goes in every 3 months for check up and is doing well. He has had stress tests up the wazoo.... but it is all preventitive and so the check up are well worth listening to everything the doc says...
Hang in there and try not to be scared (it's a natural) DO EVERYTHING THE DOC SAYS.

I am feeling much better, and dad is eating again today, so next concern is you, TALK AWAY!! HUGS
