Yes, silly one, I remember what you do for a living- but sometimes those IN the field forget to follow their own advice!
have you done the two tennis ***** in a sock under your occipitals (aka the gates of heaven, according to Chinese medicine!) Sorry about the ortho work, my daughter (aged 9) is going thru it and her jaw gets really tight. I often work on her occip/scalenes and my chiro will adjust her tmj from the inside of her mouth (hurts like hell, but really does make a huge difference).
Best of luck with the migraines- I hate that for you and for your son.
big hugs...

But the main reason for the huge ( and I do mean huge) increase in my migraines is the ortho work that I am enduring on my lower teeth-- trying to help a textbook case of Bruxism and TMJ. It is really messing with my scalenes and occipital muscles... But! I am almost over the main portion of my treatment so hopefully I will see a lessoning of my symptoms.
Thanks for the concern though!! doesn't anyone else suffer from these?? My mom had them, passed them onto me and my youngest son is now getting them also.

Thanks Hal- I've got to play ketchup on all the farm chores I missed out on last weekend (the honeydew list got purdy long)... and I'll be in Maine come the 4th... I'm a yankee woos when it comes to humdidty... I run away

Would you please pm me with a regular email. I've got a couple of friends here who would love to join us for drives and such. They're not into the young, fast, modded thing and would rather do the more fun stuff we're hoping to do

BTW, I think I'm slowly coming up with a name for us, tee hee hee and a big giggle!

TNmm I am impressed,,, you seem to know an awful lot about this field,,, have you had any training ??
Yes to the tennis *****, in fact I bought a large batch of the "miracle *****" to give as gifts to my clients a couple years ago.
My accupuncturist gave me a great balm to put on the mastoid process and on my temples it really helps more than the pressure points do.!
I can relate to that anterior TMJ manipulation technique,,, ugh.
Have a good night dear,,, must get some sleep!

LOL, Cab, no "official" training but I'm a body work junky... been on the receiving end for about 25 years. Between body work, chiro, personal trainer, injuries, and some training in related fields, I've picked up enough to understand biomechanics and to talk with a Doctor somewhat intelligibly. I've got some really good friends who are fabulous massage therapists, and they've taught me a thing or two over the years (and I tend to remember what works and doesn't work on me)-

Nite nite dear!

Morning all, hope eveyone is good and Cab your migraines are going away! sorry to hear you are suffering.
I don't get migrains or allergies but know people that get them bad and I wish i could do something to help them, both look so painful!

I have been busy getting the house ready for our guests. I'm so excited, today is the day to pick them up... at first I thought my new job would not let me have the day off, because when i reminded them of this day during the interveiw they said fine and then forgot about it. But the good news is, i'm liking the job and the mastiff is liking me!!! So i htink for now I'm going to stop looking at help wanted ads and see if this is a good fit! whew.... what a relief and they are so afraid i will quit, becuase they like my work. Not to pat myself on the back but I'm a hard worker and the information and style of this company is coming fast on the knowledge end... so glad to put this behind me for now...

anyway, must go get our Scottish friends and so will say hi when i can!
Cab next month, June, maybe we can plan a get together!

Okay Freebies,,, we have been trying to gently break it to you all but frankly you guys aren't reading closely enough and paying attention!!

The reason I was so silent over the past couple weeks is that at the last minute I decided to chuck it all and join in on the MOTD fun!!

I tried to stay out of most of their pictures but I had to pose for a few to prove to my husband that yes, I did really attend!

REALLY???

Oh there's lots to catch up on but I HAD to reply to this one first.

At first I was suspicious when TNMM had mentioned that there might be a "runaway". Since I had been the only person to publicly mention that I might be a runaway I figured they were talking about me... but I have been thinking that it was you.

Migraines-Shmigraines... you've been working on photoshop! (I can tease about migraines... I have lived with them all my life. )

Great pic cab!
I think I had the start of a migraine last night - starts with a pain that feels like my eye is in a vice. I doped myself up and so far so good. I started getting mine when I was about 8 or 9. They really wipeout your day.

Ok... I just went through and took notes to try and remember what to reply to. It's not everything but... ... pretty close.

Thanks for the compliments on the cake guys. UhOh- you said that I was crazy and the "hubby" was cute... but did you like the cake? BTW- I saw some pics of the MOTD and saw your car... identifiable by the tag but all I could see was the face of a guy in the passenger seat. Was that your brother? Now HE was quite a cutie.

TNMM- What would you like on your birthday cake dear? I'm sure I could deliver it through all those TWISTIES with NO problems! May I recommend you choose a nice melty buttercream-sticky fondant-Cooper carpet fiber-pile o' something cake? This would insure that you actually get what you were expecting ... 'cause let's get real... there'd be no way I could get up there without a very spirited drive.

MinixB- How did you find your Classic? And have YOU done all of your own work and stuff?

UhOh- Your "WHACK" reminds me of a "potato" story from when I was a kid. Gross! The pic of your Butterfly (at 3:35PM) looks like it didn't have much of a choice. Although I'd love to think that it was screaming with "joy" riding the TWISTIES... I think the reality is probably that it was screaming and looking for the closest "OH SHT" bar. With the combination of suction and wind force I'm sure it had to check its underwear when the ride was over. The BEE looks like it's in a honeycomb... perhaps a bit of confusion? Interesting that you posted pics of your squished bugs... I just got plastered with the always amorous "LOVE BUGS" on Tuesday. Took pics but didn't post. It was yucky.

Cab & UhOh- You want me to "entertain"? Yeah... what... so am I like your fun monkey or something?

Gem- Have fun with your peeps!

"miracle *****"
I was waiting for somebody to pick up on the "miracle *****" thing....

LOVED the cake, babe, but everybody else was gushing about it, i figured you'd be basking in that glow and needed something else of which to bask in the glow.

Yes, that's my brother. Don't tell HIM he's cute - we'll NEVER get a hat to fit him again! He used to look like DJ from Roseanne when he was a kid. Spittin' image. Check these out (I can't see them at work, but i'm told they're amusing):

AND YES - YOU are the entertainer. I laugh so hard, tears roll down my face.

I have heard about so called "miracle *****" a time or two... but never from anyone with any REAL therapeutic knowledge. Ok... so now I'm losing all control... thinking back to all the "tea-bagging" that was going on on tax day! *crying* God... I love Jon Stewart and his Daily Show!

So your brother looked like DJ? I don't EVER remember having the hots for DJ. But I won't say anything to your brother... wouldn't want you to have to get a Cabrio just to haul his big ol' noggin' around! As for these pics- looks like someone found Jesus in #141! SO funny!

PS And thanks for liking the cake. I am goofy and wild... but I'm actually pretty humble when it comes to my creative stuff.

Teh Armiez websensors both "shopping" (like where the photos are for sale) and "personal networking and shared data storage" (like FaceBook, MySpace, picasa, flikr, photobucket, etc.)

PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!

Ok... I'll stop.

I have to go do my work out in the pool now. Somehow it's warmed up to 89 degrees. Very therapeutic! Much better than "magic *****"!
