I am very happy about you finding a potential job... but this is definitely not a free pass to skip posting the pic. We're waiting... no pressure though!

Yeah! That's why it's so funny. It's a MINI ad! Looks like the guy could be a young Kurt Russell? Anyone else think so? If so, age did him a favor!

Of course, there is no corrollary between visiting this thread and reading page 144, and then promptly seeking out and viewing the galleries on mulletjunky.com.

yah, at first I was thinking why would MINI use such a disgusting picture for our wonderful little cars? Then I read the fine print,,, it was really a great ad. Hilarious....! I have never seen a mini cooper ad in any of my magazines, I guess they are only in auto mags?

Did some looking around and did find one old picture. It is either my junior or senior year (about 36 or 37 years ago).

And yes, this was one of the few times I smiled for a pic.

Ok, I've been pretty busy at work (I guess I should be thankful), but I've been trying to keep up with the craziness. I've enjoyed the pictures, and if I wasn't completely heads over heels in love with my wife I would have to make some road trips.

To try to get me off the naughty list here is the only "early" picture I have available right now. I have some other pictures on one or two of my many hard drives including some of my Army pics. But those'll have to wait for my weekend. I work a compressed shift (4 on, 4 off, 3 on and 3 off) so my weekend is Sun thru Wed this week. Yay. Going on a Fun Run with the local MINI/Mini club on Sunday.

This picture is the only one in existance of all of my family in one picture. My Mom and Dad, 3 brothers, 1 step brother, 1 sister and 3 step sisters. We had the Brady Bunch beat. I'm the 2nd to the smallest in the plaid shirt. Ok, I found another one. Taken about 12 years ago, I'm the one getting ready to put rabbit ears on my little brother.

I live in the land of coffee and light, home state of Starbucks, in a county where you can't swing a cat without hitting a java hut. There are 7 java huts within five minutes of my house. I promise you, my coffee consumption per day makes yours look like child's play.
You've got to be in Western Washington--Eastern Washington you'd hit an apple tree, not a Starbuck's! I was born & raised in Bellevue.

Hello Skillet! Hope all is well with you. And ChubbyChecker--HI! Have fun on the run! I like the Checkered MINIs, they're cool. Great pics!

Seeing all these old pictures brings back some memories. Mostly good, but there's a few of those "MOM--I thought you burned that picture!!!" lol

MulletMan was funny. Kinda does look like a young Kurt Russell, but Kurt had better skin. And the ad was funny.

Still catching up from today! Yikes! I'm going to have to set aside more time for this new hobby of mine...

The apple orchards are all in the Wenatchee area, which is actually in Western Washington.

I am in Eastern Washington. Out here, we have an abundance of grain crops and java huts... not Starbucks, java huts. We're too elitist for Starbucks over here. We prefer our locally roasted coffees to stale, burnt beans.

Anyway, I'm celebrating MY 46th Birthday Today and have had a Fun Filled Day. Hubby and I drove up to Multnomah Falls, had Lunch, shopped in Downtown Portland, had Ice Cream at Ben&Jerry's, bought some Cupcakes for Dessert after my Birthday Dinner, went to Dinner at Original Roadhouse and came home to catch up on "As the MINI Turns..."

Since I wasn't named to the 'Bad List' I thought I'd bore you all with a HS Pic. of me, sorry it's so bad, I actually had to take a pic. of it with my cell phone. I had made a Collage of some Family Photos a long time ago, the frame is now falling apart, but the pics. are still attached to the backing so I'm balancing the pics. on my knee and trying to get a good enough pic.

I've always had Razor Straight Hair (Straw)...I had an accident when I was 2 Years Old and my Mom says the meds. they gave me while I was in the Hospital is what caused my hair to be so straight. Before then I had Ringlettes all over my head.

Anyway, thought I'd share. I have a Year Old Pic. of me in my Gallery, with quite a bit more weight on than what I have now, AND my Molly Car is beside me!!
You should be able to see my pic. now!!

Goofy Slipper Contest?

Evening all. I have been very bad and have not been practicing my piano like I should have been. I forced myself to stay off this thread tonight and spend some time with the piano. I have class again tomorrow and I was trying to cram. I pulled out a few of my old books from centuries ago and could not believe I use to know how to play that stuff! Those brain cells must have died a long time ago because I am starting from scratch. I am back to Every Good Boy Does Fine and FACE for the Treble Clef. I could not remember the Bass Clef so I came up with Gross Boys Drive Fast American Cars and All Cows Eat Grassy Blends Downwind. I know that is not right but it helps me remember. Oh Gawd, I think I have lost all sanity.

gemgirlpa, I think you are on to our new challenge - pictures of our crazy slippers? I have been on the hunt for a pair of MINI Cooper slippers but they appear to not sell them anymore. I do however have numerous pairs of Mickey Mouse related slippers. So what does the gang think - goofy slipper contest? (No pun intended). Shall we submit pictures of our crazy slippers?

morning all!
RJK, you are beautiful!! just beautiful!! I remember when the "wings' were in style.... found him the other day appropriate for talking hair!!!
Random- i agree with you -Starbucks is stale and burnt tasting.. my opinion of course. Not to offend any Starbucks lovers out there, everyone has their own taste.
KIKi- welcome back and good luck today with your class! Hum a slipper contest huh?? Mine aren't goofy just practical...
here is a link for your slippers by the way...

Not trying to quibble, but Wenatchee is east of the Cascades, which puts it in Eastern Washington. Starbucks isn't the best coffee on the planet, never thought or said that it was. I switched from coffee to tea years ago, don't miss coffee, though I have to admit the smell of brewing coffee is wonderful. Just wish it tasted as good as it smells. Oh well.

It's another beautiful day in paradise, our local MINI club had our meeting last night, and we had a blast. All is good in the world, and my LilBeastie is off to get his oil changed.

I thought they were great! (but like she said - hard to keep up! I'm technically still reading today's page 3, but there were too many posts to talk to!)

Sounds like you had a really nice birthday! And don't worry - you WERE on the bad list, just not listed each time. But now you are absolved.

TROLL!!! Speaking of trolls, I was driving (TWO FREAKIN' HOURS) back from a medical appointment and "got lost" in a few antique stores (ok, junk stores posing as antique stores) and saw THREE trolls!! I immediately thought of you guys. No pink hair though. Green, blue, and red.
