Hi..Folks..spent a few hours fitting and sticking carpet to the heel board, and inner wheel arch, and doorways, and crossmember........................

Did a little more today.............did what I think is the trickiest part of the interior.........rear bin cards............



Had these especially made by Newton Commercial...............







had trouble getting top edge into groove.............

just trying rear seats and they need the seat belt bolts removing I think...................

mk1leg - what's with the floral pattern in some of the pics?

I'm waiting until you're done to show my husband; you're using his favorite college sports colors. (I need everything I can get to convince him we need more MINIs or Minis!!)

Hi..people did a little more on Jennifer ..............Painted new switch panel Old English White and wired up front screen to relay and switch and refitted others................



and wired up extra switches.............



and fitted rear and front carpets.......





but not very impressed with Newton's new moulded carpet set not as good as there old deluxe set...............

Are the black skid pads on the carpet an option? Do they come in red as well? Either way, Jennifer is looking AB FAB. You'll have a brand new car when your all done.

thats as they come black foot matts are moulded in with carpet and as for the rear thats where the back of the seats hit nwhen droped to stop wearing carpet out..........

well I had these made from marine grade stainless steel as per template I made from ally...................



as for the red wypac glass lamp they are very hard to find these days the last one I saw was on fleecebay (ebay) went for £30 in feb 2009...........I can send you the template if you like...............

Very Nice Work!!! I love the paint, has a bit of flake to it? I really like the way you put in the reverse lights. Very nice.

Hi..and yes there is a hint of gold flake....Mazda Velosity Red..there a copy of 1960s radford lamps...........

Spent a few hrs on Jennifer today................fitted steering and heater in properly......................



and started fitting engine bay out with brake and clutch stuff.................



and hope to pick up the engine this week and give it a rebuild and paint as its been standing idle for a few years.................

Ummm.. one of the wires going into the fuse box looks a little dirty. Could you get on that please
Looks fantastic! I'm jealous of not only the car to this point but as well as the time you get to spend on her. Looking forward to following the build to the end.

I love the classic mini's!
I saw a real nice black classic Mini at AMVIV this past weekend, with a healthy V-Tec swap. car looked and ran fantastic!
