So that's what the underside of a clean Mini looks like. Never seen that before.

Did you just happen to get a collector vehicle policy a short while ago? Just wondering because your car looks exactly like one I approved here at my work for our collector vehicle program. I put a post it note on the request I sent back for missing info that said "nice Mini" is that you by chance?

Haven't actually picked the car up, still having the fronts installed and a few other goodies.

Small world! I knew that Mini looked familiar, I remember certain cars and remember ALL the Minis

Enjoy it! I love that interior, very nice!

Thanks for getting me the info. BTW, I appreciate it.

Very nice! It would be really cool to have one of the plush MPI's. I didn't know that OE A/C condensors are located back underneath, which is the same for MiniTec's Vtec cars spec'ed with Air. Sweet, sweet, sweet. Your brakes do look like art. Bet they work very well, too.

If you figured you buy a decent MPI with minimal rust:
you would be looking to pay 15k-24k stock, plus add my mods that have been barely on the car. Put it this way, i sold my last one for 10k, the guy who bought it put around 30k on it and he's not done restoring the car, plus the hours he's put in it.
It's OBO as well.

The market will determine the ultimate price. Frankly, I've only seen rare classic Mk1 Cooper S's (1071's, etc) sell for that kind of money and on the rarest occasions. Mini's usually just don't pull big dollars unless they are very rare in production numbers and/or are period rally cars with provenance.

Good luck. She's a beauty and well appointed. A lovely addition to anyone's collection.

I'm going to be driving my "Lucy" down for some of those great Bay Area runs, should be a lot of fun .
