H82WRK, I love that name and can't wait to see some more in Cincy pictures.
Have Ya got a name for this blue 67 yet?
Good Luck with your project and if it's all original that your shooting for, all I can say is AWESOME. You don't hear enough of that.
All original or as close to it as you can get is always way harder to achieve then modding one out to ones own likes.
I'm going the lazy guys way out and modding with my 91 Rover. It's just something I've wanted to do, and will let the grandkids play with one day, if I'm ever blessed with any.
Cheers.

Are those factory recliner seats? The 6x10 cosmics are a very cool wheel. Dificult to find center caps for though.

Kudos to keeping the styling/mods to fit the period. Looks very nice! I also agree with removing chrome arches/seam covers. Love the 10" Cosmics and wouldn't worry about center caps. The interior looks fab!

They are factory reclining seats out of a 68 Cooper, that is also where the gearbox came from and various other goodies such as the rims. The guy I bought the Mini from had the 68 and gutted it down to the shell, the guy that bought it only wanted the shell and the title so my Mini got the rest. I have to tell you, the chrome actually looks great in person. The color is much brighter and it just goes nicely. I can't believe I am saying that!
Hoping to get some pictures this weekend, it has been snowing here since I picked her up and I just can't get good photos in the garage.
Thanks for all the compliments. She drives like a dream and is just so clean I can't believe that I could actually afford her.

Sounds great! I really enjoy some of the period colors that mini offered. The earthy, pastel versions of colors are so cool, including yours. Talking about cold weather... This is the winter that defies my belief in global warming.

Thanks so much for the compliments!!! I cannot wait for Spring, it is always like this in OH though, you start getting close to March when you have hope for Spring and then all the snow starts. At least that is how is seems.

Name? I never saw her name.

How about a latin flare? A Brit who likes salsa...who is short and low to the ground...how about "Consuelo"?

I went to the Clubman party in Cincinnati on 2/29/08 mostly for the free food and meeting MINI people as I had just bought a 07 MCS in the fall. But what did I find but a beautiful blue classic being displayed. It seemed so familiar. Then while I was talking to the owner I realized that I say on NAM first. See I am a huge fan of all Mini's and would have a classic if I had a proper garage (the MINI would sit out side if it was one car garage).

This car is beautiful and I could find 16in versions of those wheels I would buy them.

H82Work I hope to see both you lovely ladies in the CinciMINIs club!!!

Thank you for the compliment, it was a pleasure talking with you and I do plan on trying to make it to some of the Cinci stuff. Sounds like fun. The event was well done at the store as well I thought. I loved the pita sandwiches

If you would like to know the name of my Mini you will have to probably have to get me drunk to tell you. The day I went to get my Mini I was not having the best day and was heavily medicated on Vicodin. My Mini's name came to me that evening as I lay in bed still on the Vicodin and drifting to sleep. All I can say is it is interesting.
