White mirrors - Wow EXPENSIVE...

I really like the spiffy white mirrors form the '94-on Minis... problem is, they're bloody EXPENSIVE:

$225 for a pair of white Rover mirrors? WTF? Anyone have any suggestions on a better way to do it? I've checked and my local paint guru says that painting my chromed mirrors probably is not possible... If anyone HAS white and WANTS chrome, give me a shout.

just did a quick look of the picture and with whatever shelf or whatever that's in the reflection it looks like the mirror is cracked!

i like mine - not even sure if they're from a Mini or not - haven't seen them in any catalog
they just go straight out - could use a good buffing or maybe even paint

I was thinking about replacing my mirrors when I stripped the Wee Beastie for paint and they were pretty pricey everywhere. You might check on ebay though.

I'm still waiting on approval from the Chief Financial Officer.

My mirrors? No, there's no tint to them at all.
What's a Cibi?
