This is beginning to look like the coolest gokart on the planet! It may surpass my love for the Ariel Atom. Wish the pace/likely completion of my little rubberband-powered pick-up were as brisk as yours!

Looking great. Whose body kit is this?

One off totally custom body kit.

My mini shares the Ariel Atoms gauges hehe.

Body kits are sooo subjective. Its just a matter of personal taste. You have the purists that say the VTEC conversion is a waste. You also have people that dont like body kits. People have there opinions and sorry I lost you but, I like it.

This car is serving a very specific purpose and thus a body kit is warranted.

Sure sure...

I'm just saying... for ME, that's where I lost enthusiasm. It just no longer looks like a Mini any more. To me. But hey - all that matters is that YOU like it -after all, it's your $$ and effort that built it.

Well I guess I could have kept it as a open wheel F1 mini car.

I'll try to get you on board again, just overlook the body kit for now.

Big unexpected box came today in the mail.
Waited almost 2 mo. for them. Believe it or not REALLY comfortable, made for endurance road racing.

Hey, didn't know you were on NAM. I just joined over the weekend since I've done a lot of work for the new MINI members and didn't realize there was a section for us classic nuts. I like the seats, and thanks for the mention.

I'd love to get my hands on one of those!!!!!!!!!!
I never had the pleasure of driving one though, but think they are just cool as hell.

I seem to recall a mid-engined 225-250 hp version with monster-sized wheels/flares and impressive handling/times. Who built those little monsters? (No, not the Renault donor, but the final machine?)

Thank GOD you had the headlamp rings cast in fiber... With the anemic HP that motor will put out, you really need all the advantages you can get...
