D-series can be made into screamers nothing the matter with them. And any Vtec in a mini is stupid fast.

I like it. All of the weakness' found in oem minis replaced with SuperRadical race gear. You can't just show this car... it must be driven, too.

Exhaust is done. Well kinda. I need help deciding what way to go here. I originally had the exhaust exiting the middle of the car but it sits about 2in. off the ground. So im thinking that a may re route it up and exit it out the left side in the middle of the boot. So about where you see the O2 bung on the downpipe. What do you think?

 

I think an O2 bung is disgusting, personally. That aside, what about below the tail light(s) in the corner below the bumper a la Ferrari / Lamborghini style exhaust exits through the body? Dual would be even sweeter but more complicated...which really hasn't stopped you yet.

 

Thats possible too! Im not really feeling the dual but I could do it under the right tail light.

 

This is an incredible project, can't wait to see the finished results. Are you going to autocross or run track events? You could just park it and look at it for hours on end.

 

Thanks Rusty I wont be tracking it anytime soon. Maybe after a year or two but for the most part its a fun weekend driver/show car.
