D-Series VTEC MiniTec Pickup joining the fleet
I'm (once again) contemplating a vtec Mini, and this one seems right in line with what I'm looking for (a "boring" daily driver), though I would go with a later-model saloon in the hopes of maxing out the creature comforts, reliability, and civility wherever possible in machines like these.
I'm hoping that meno's experience is more due to the prototype nature and monster horsepower--something that could be avoided with a milder D motor...It doesn't seem like that's the case, though. In particular, the idea of bolts rattling loose terrifies me--why wasn't loctite used everywhere? Any major issues over the years?

2014 update:
Time flies when you're having fun in a VTEC mini! I still have the P'up, 13,500 miles clocked, and loving it. I've had no major issues- just maintenance and tweaks here and there. It's tucked away in the garage right now due to 10" local snow + SALT on the roads.
