Sagging Rear End

I have a 1968 Morris Mini Cooper which has the hydrolasitic suspension. The problem is the back end of the car is lower than the front (20 1/4" rear vs 23 1/2" front as measured from the ground to the top arch of wheel well). The car is level side-to-side. After reading what I could find on the web, I thought that the car should be level even if the pressure was lower that spec. Is this correct?

Thanks

Yes, the car should be level. You might have a leak, check the hydo bag.

First place to check for leaks are the hydro lines themselves. At the rear between the subframe and the body (towards the front of the rear subframe) and at the rear of the front subframe where the lines run between the body and front subframe.

Those seem to be two places where moisture loves to nest .
