It's official! I am a classic Mini owner again...
I’ve always been a classic Mini-nut. My Dad owned several minis (offshore) in the last 20 years and I inherited that love in tinkering the old classics. When I moved to the states permanently I had to leave the classics behind. I missed it so much that I decided to purchase my new MINI last year. I have been enjoying motoring when the classic bug came around
Imagox recent purchase helped sparked the interest again . I got a lead from Matt on where to look for classics and I saw one that kinda fit the budget. To cut the long story short…. I got myself another classic Mini.

Congrats, Adrion!! I was hoping you'd post this so I wouldn't steal your thunder.
Gosh - that interior upholstry looks VERY familiar! Hehehe... I wish my engine bay and cabin was as clean as yours, but then again I think I paid less so... Guess it's a fair trade. Nice steering wheel, too!

Thanks Matt! it does look familiar eh.. i found out that it's called the harlequin interior trim. The mountney steering wheel was an added bonus. I guess I am just lucky that the previos owner took good care of the car.
It's not perfect as there's the usual minor rust spots that I have to take care and some engine and body detailing work to be done. I am so excited to start detailing it. Watch out for the before and afters in the detailing 101 section.

Hey Minimk3, Congrats!
You and Imagox are fueling the fire for classics! Nice car. I like the steering wheel, too-- Planning to keep it stock or are you a mod man?
Love the Revolutions.

Thanks 2phun.
I was so happy to see those mods in the car as I really wanted after market steering wheel and wheels.
mods would have to wait for awhile as I no longer have the budget for it. Since it's an SPI engine I think I am limited to stage 3 upgrade. Who knows I might even think of converting it back to SU carbs.
Thanks JR.
Matt, you are the ultimate mod man. can't wait to see the transformation.
