(How To) threads for Classic Minis

This thread is for your suggestions on How Tos for the Classic Mini.

Can be links to various How Tos or you can do it yourself with explanation and pictures.

Just state your upgrades and if enough responses are made we can make them into one link page and make it a sticky for this forum.

if you're looking for thread ideas, I'd love to see How-to's on:

* Replacing ignition points - people say to carry spares, but I have no idea how to install them.
* Replacing disc/drum pads on the classics
* Oil Change and basic fluid maintenance - Seems simpe, but there's usually a "catch" or at least a best-case way to do it.
* Headlight alignment/replacing rubber seals - I know these often go bad. Tail light seals as well!

Oh, and here's a great little How-to on "Jacking Up The Mini" - it saved me from punching a hole in my floor pans yesterday (I was about to lift the car from the wrong point because on the new MINI you jack from the sill and NOT from the suspension sub frame):

FYI - there are several other useful articles over at Minifinity in their TECHNICAL LIBRARY - I recommend looking them over.
