Rallyman
Would anybody in the club like to do a road rally with us sometime this year? We have 8 rallies scheduled for the year, with the first one on Saturday, April 23. This 62 mile road course begins in Harrison, Ohio and ends at Brookville Lake State Park. We have a limit of 50 vehicles per rally. For details, go to our web site at
www.SCENICROADRALLIES.com.

How many of you folks autocross and where? We went to Scarlett Oaks last year, but we much prefer Wright State. A bit farther of a drive, but less curbs, more variation in course, and typically more organized. Plus at the group at Wright State runs a bit differently. There are 2 heats which get 3 runs each, then lunch, then each heat gets 3 more runs, so you get to see how others are running the course.
I'm excited for auto-x season to begin. Last year I drove my hubby's EVO so this will be the first time I get to run the MINI

There is a test and tune this sunday at Riverdowns and the first Cincy points event is next sunday at Riverdowns. To find other events, go to http://www.myautoevents.com and search by zip code under Find an Event.
I have never run at Riverdowns as there aren't too many events there, mostly at the beginning and end of the season. I am looking forward to getting some run time in there though as we are signed up for the auto-x school in April and it's at Riverdowns. I think we are going this week but not sure due to some possible family health issues

Well, back from the autocross at Riverdowns. I didn't do too good, but my fault. I'll work on it this season. My first run I was using my friend's Whalen **** for his M Roadster which doesn't fit exactly and I wound up pulling off the shift **** on the run
so everyone was trying to figure out why I was going so slow. I was also running on my all-season runflats since I haven't gotten new wheels yet and I think the sqealing freaked me a bit.
Jim (CincyMCS) looked pretty good though

Dunlop Run Flats
Hello cinciMINIs, I just found you and am eager to get together, see ya @ Dewey's!!! But on a sadder note I had one of my 16" OEM Dunlops go bad. A replacement could not be found locally, so I switched to NON runflats ( four for the price of one ). This left me with three OEM tires with 1800 miles on them. I am willing to part with them to MINI owners in need for a fraction of the replacement cost. Interested? Contact me.
Sorry, once my run-flats are dead, they are gone  I just got some flat black 5Zigens with Falken Azeni's for my auto-x tires. Tomorrow, I am going to Evolution school. Hopefully, the weather isn't as bad as what they are calling for
I JUST GOT A MCS & I'M IN CINCY!!!!! My name is Greg & I'm a former Cincy Miata Club member. I tried to send the club an e-mail as a new member, but the e-mail came back undeliverable.
Looking forward to meeting up with the group ASAP. Been on your site & know a couple of the members who own Miatas as well. I know you meet @ Dewey's & have seen your schedule for this year so far. Is it me or do you folks not use forums that much to communicate? Not much activity here on NAM or on Roadster Forums. How do you keep in touch?? I like to do early Sat. morning drives in the area with some of my buddies - please see the link below. Come out & join us!

We're much more of a natter (Britclubspeak for get together) group. We thrive where good pizza, beer and MINIs are all together.
Additionally, we have rallys, tech sessions (probably have a pulley party soon with Webb Motorsports) and generally flash our lights and wave when we see other MINIs on the road.
p.s. Former Miata owner here too.
