Hey all,

I got the lil card from Knauz about their annual Knauz MINI rally event and was wondering if anybody is going. I'm sort of interested in it, but I haven't really done anything MINI wise yet. So, anybody going?

 

I'd go... but didn't get a card.

 

Typically they only send cards to customers as it's a first come first serve thing. If you bought your car there I'd recommend just giving them a call.

 

I'm going but I think it's already filled up with the first 60. There's a wait list for those that didn't call or email in time when they received their card.

 

I'm in, but it osunded like things filled up shortly after I got my invitation.

 

i got my thingy in the mail as well, but i probably wont go to it. im more of a CMMC guy. you should try and make it out to our events...you still at loyola?

 

yup still there, i'm seeing more and more MINI's every year.

 

I got the card from Knauz in the mail Tuesday afternoon but didn't call in until about 10:30 Wednesday morning. They told me that things were filled up already but that they'd put my name on a waiting list if someone couldn't make it. I got a call back around 12:30 that afternoon saying that some people had both called and E-mailed in reservations which threw the original count off. I was able to get on the list but I'm sure that by this point they are filled up. If anyone still wants to go you should call them and see what the status is and ask about the waiting list.

 

I'm in - got the card on Tues and sent an email on Tuesday night (wife saved me on that one). Got in but barely according to Linda. This is my first MINI mobilization so really looking forward to it. See you all there

 

I didn't get one... I know the original owner of my MCC took delivery from Knauz. For those not going/invited.. a few of us CMMC are going to join the Milwaukee MINIs that morning for a run.. check this thread

 

Check your link, ethier that or I think a few MINIs will be scratched up on the Milwaukee run.

Received one also, I'm planning on going, if everything gets done on my Mini. In service at Knauz waiting for a part, should be ready by Friday, I hope!

 

A warm thanks for the new folks that I had the pleasure of meeting today. A nice 3 hour drive, 60 or so MINIS and great weather to top it off. Oh yes, the Bears won too.

I hope the folks who headed up to do the fall foilage run had a good time today as well.

Looking forward to the LSD run.

The Chicago MINI Motoring Club will be having a fun drive and BBQ on the same day. Anyone who didn't make the Knauz list, feel free to post up (so we can plan for food) and attend our drive on the 16th

 

Hmmm the Knauz thing is pretty Early wonderif I couldpull of a drive and the CMMCmeet all in one high milage day

 

Drew, that would be nothing for you! I remember seeing some of your posts and all the miles you were driving while looking for a job

The BBQ is going to be cool. I say do em both!

 

Knauz was too cool to invte me even though i dropped 30 grand on a friggin MINI.

No point getting mad. They have a lot of customers, and only a few openings for their drive.

There will hopefully be a time in the future when it will be a combined CMMC and Knauz event and open to a larger group of people...

 

Look at this way, you are all invited to the BBQ drive and you only had to spend $25.00 for the membership! Now that is a deal!

 

oh yeah FYI if someone wants to tag along for the ride(I could use a spotter and split the award) I do have two slots reserved (car is under two names with them I ask for one slot they gave me two ) just drop me a PM

 

Hey Drew.. you made it out to the garage day last time in the snow and in the dark and I know that was no small feat for any of us that made it out that day
