MINI and NASCAR
Hey, everybody!
I am flying into Chicago on 7/11. I am coming into town to attend the races in Joliet this weekend. I also think that we are going to Wrigley on Friday afternoon. WOO HOO!
I have never been to the Windy City so I am looking forward to the Blues Clubs, the food, the ball game, the ambiance and the racin!
Are any Chicago MINI Motoring Club members going to the race? I would enjoy meeting some of you and maybe getting a t-shirt or something as a reminder.
I will try to check back and see. I don't have a laptop and I am not too sure about Tommy's puter status but if any of you will be at the track, let me know!

What time is your flight in? There are a few of us meeting in Schaumburg @ about 7 PM. Schaumburg is about 30 minutes from the Ohare if you are flying into Ohare that is.
Just do a search for Patrick MINI and the Portillo's Hot Dog place is right across the street.
I am guessing that there will be about 10-12 cars there.

COOL! I am not sure if we are doing the Blues Club adventure on Wednesday or Thursday but my friend's office is in Schaumberg. I will bring this info with me and if it works out, that would be great. What's the plan? Food and drink cause either way that will be on the schedule...
I actually arrive at about 3:00 pm at O'Hare.

Thanks, Nick and all of the Chicagoland Mini Owners. Things did not work out in a way that I could meet any of you this time around - but I will be back!
My first trip to Chicago could not have been any better! I went to the track, went to Wrigley for a Cubs game and ate a whole bunch of great food!
If any of you head to California, let me know!
