Ok so, i am new to the website, and new to driving a mini. I have always wanted a mini for quite some time now, and finally after saving my pennies for about 10 years now i finally got one. I love driving it and so that is why i am purposing a November 15th cruise. I have yet to meet anyone on the forums, and i have yet to take my couped up mini on a cruise! so whoever is interested, come along on a nice cruise for the day, get some food, beer, whatever. just a friendly invite! let me know, i will let who ever wants to attend, know where to meet up and we will go from there!!! hope to hear from ya'll!!

The best way to move the Nov 15th idea forward is to post some more details above or below, such as where and when and what will happen. I look forward to seeing the details and trying to make it as well. If you need any help please PM me. By the way, you might want to make it out tonight for the Wed meet and greet.

 

I was thinking about meeting somewhere in Schaumburg around 9-10 in the morning.

Then I was thinking that we take a nice cruise up north to Lake Geneva or Milwauke, or somewhere up north. Take some quiet back roads, try and take in some of this nice fall weather that we have been having in. We can grab some luch or what not while we are up there. Cruise around a little bit then drive home. I will have an exact route and stops we can make later.

I would like to have a nice size turn out just so I can meet everyone.

I'd love to chill with you and show you some of the better roads to learn about your MINI...

Unfortunately, I work on saturdays... and unless the weather holds out for a little longer, she 'the MINI' will put down for the winter.

But I'll bring out the loaner aka the winter beater, and we can still have a blast. Hopefully you've got a slightly aggressive right foot, you might need it!!!

jdz, its looking pretty grimm. i think that ill have reschedule to a different date. ill let you know though. srichs i am always willing to go out and drive!! and my right foot is getting aggressive, lol i am working on it

 

Man...I would LOVE to but I tore my meniscus (OUCHY) and my driving & passengering is limited with this lovely immobilizer/brace running from mid thigh to just above my ankle for 6 weeks :(

There's always the drive out to Vegas in March... right Rich?
