Sat Oct 18th Lunch and Drive
Hello Chicagoland MINI Drivers.
Our Friends at http://www.nwiminiacs.com/ are going to show us a good time on the good roads of NW IN.
We will meet on the SOUTH bound side of the 294/Hinsdale Oasis at 11am.
Head to a NOON Lunch at the very cool, http://www.quakersteakandlube.com/Portage_IN/ in Portage IN.
After food and fellowship we hit the roads and yes there are some very fun roads in that area. After the tour we can stop and shop the local vineyard or the new Cabela's or we can always take some cash from the boats too.

yes this is a one day event. Starts for us in IL at 11am or Noon in NW IN with lunch. After lunch and fun drive you may head back home or stay and play.
I know GPCOOPR will have a hot date setup for that night, so he'll need to run home after drive and get ready

Wish I could be there....
I have a 'strange' feeling that I'll be dragged up to Michigan for a wine tasting event that the GF wants to go too.... I really don't want her 'loosing lunch' in my MINI!!

Looks like there will be a dozen MINI waiting for us in NW IN. Lunch with fried pickles, then fun color drive and a stop at vineyard too. 60's and Sunny.

We need some feedback about this event. I know other past NW IN outings have been low in attendances. Why?
This event will be in the Valpo area on proven MINI roads for fun and this time of year great colors too.
It's not an early morning event and easy to get to with all expressways open and very few Orange cones.
Please let us know why this is not an event that you are signing up for this time. If you don't want to post your thoughts here, please PM them to us.
We know every event cannot be a home run, we do value your feed back for planning next years events.

I had to work! How was it?
Fried pickles....wow. Totally wish I weren't digestively inferior and could eat something that delicious.
We definitely need some fun events in the north burbs!

I hope you can set up an event in the North Burbs, I know there are 100's of MINI's in Lake County. Feel free to think up something you would like to do and post it here and see how many show up.
