Dude, Just do it. Buy the 09 JCW. You know you wanna. You were contemplating the JCW kit anyway. Well, this is your opportunity to do it.

 

And for the record I already have the JCW Stage 1 kit on my car.

I'm seriously on the fence with this car - my 07 is setup supremely - handles great - just after the accident I have trust issues.

doh.. yes they've got GIAC doing engine mgmt.

 

Get the 2009, that way you'll have somewhat of a buffer before GBMINI catches up

 

I'm also tempted to trade for a JCW. I guess the resale on an '07 is close to -- or the same as -- I paid??? Crazy!

Just do it, the 09 JCW has some super specifications and you have a better base to apply the even bigger turbo.

To close the loop on this - bought it. Glad I did. Got $24k on trade-in for my refurbished 07 MINI Cooper S.

Soon I hope.. I'm in South Padre Texas until tommorrow and then in Dallas through Wednesday. I miss it and my comfy pad.
