Welcome to the new Capital Area MINI Modders™ (CAMM ®) forum

CAMM is the place to be for those who are incessant modders in the DC area and like to be among similarly minded car enthusiasts. We love to see a hot-rodded Audi, Subaru or Vette as much as a tricked out MINI and what binds us all together is improving the breed.

If you have the modding bug, you are in the right place. Anything that makes the car go faster, handle better or makes it more fun to drive counts...whether it be JCW options or the aftermarket.

Please...no drama, no arguing about cupholders and stripes! This is not the place. We'll be holding some events soon....some install days, a few rally's. There are no dues, no formal club officers....we only ask that those involved participate and contribute...this forum is what we make of it.

The coordinators are Krut/Kurt, golden_child/Alden and me, PGT/Dan.

Welcome to all who want to get out there and enjoy their cars and meet new people who are 'car guys' or 'car girls'.

what you lack in up and mods you can make up for in know-how or organizing. this is not meaant to be an elitist group but rather a participatory one

LOL. I am in. Is it too early to start a poll for how much members have put into their cars? (minimum starting amount $2,000)

I'd like to nominate myself as Vice President of the "Done a little, wants to do a lot more, now let me see, its lefty-loosey with the wrench, right?" club! All new members can join me with the lusty-leers and drool as we try to figure out how to do **that** to ours!

got to learn somewhere. I distinctly remember telling a Suby guy I couldn't help install his BBK just a few years back. I've done a few now...learned from a buddy who helped me with my Brembo kit and went from there. That's what this is about....help from the collective group of knowledge.

Definitely a cool idea Sounds like a great forum to talk about the mods we have done and the mods we want to do but aren't sure how.

I agree. Before it gets 100% humidity and 100F out there. I keep asking the wife for a portable air conditioner for the garage for my birthday in June and every year, she laughs at me.

Whoever has super design skills please feel free to design something. The Q.O.C. logo is pretty sweet...

And I think the custom paint and the lowered suspension and wheels count as a mod.
