Still kinda pissed off because my CF splitter should have been here before bimmerfest and its not!

 

atn57 (from Houston, but in Calgary for the year) was asking about it. You could PM him; he may be looking for company? I am in Edmonton this weekend, so I won't be there!

 

Sounds nice. When and where? And don't say it was this past weekend.

Maybe there'll be something of the sorts happening here in Kelowna when the BMW/MINI dealer is up and running next month. So far that I know, it'll be the first BMW dealer in Kelowna and possibly the whole Okanagan area. The owner of it used to work with my brother at BK-Motors in Ontario, and seems to sound like an enthusiastic guy that's looking at getting some events and stuff happening when I was talking to him last. They should open this dealership with a bang. Be cool to have a big wicked Bimmer/MINIfest weekend here. Who knows.

P.S.- That Bimmer with the Vette engine in those links, is like sacriligious. There's a time and a place for that, and it ain't inside a BMW, in my opinion.

What have you been doing for service for the last 3 years!!! Quick blast down to Vancouver??? I was in Nelson last weekend and wondering where MINI owners in the Kootenays (not many) take their car for service. I'm sure they will be delighted to see the Kelowna dealership open!!

 

Yes, up until next month there hasn't been any BMW or MINI dealers between Calgary and Vancouver. So this'll be real nice. I would have to go to Vancouver and have been, to get my MINI serviced. But I've been lucky and have had very few problems with it so far in 3 years. Now I'll only have to travel 4mins to get to the nearest dealer instead of 4hrs. I can b happy with that.
