Aussie Banter V2.1.0

I got in trouble for that link in my sig that I was actually told I was allowed to have, pretty sure Graham at GTT complained about it as I asked him to substanciate some figures and some claims he made.
Off the record, be very cautious with GTT parts

I guess that's why I spend more time here than MINI2. That and the fact that I live in the States these days, so NAM has more relevance to me than M2.
Generally, people tend to get banned from here for being constant arseholes and flame-baiters. A bit of stirring usually is fine.
And Yanks love Aussies.

Thought I may as well stick this in here, on behalf of Harry Morant…
FS: NSW reg number plates CPR S
They are black on white slime line plates. The current owner has now changed his rego to ACT, so these plates are now up for grabs. He doesn't know I'm putting this up on the Tex, but if you are genuine, let me know and I'll pass on his mobile number. I have no idea how much he'd like for them.

A few people have asked me to do this... I've quickly (quite litrally 10 mins
) knocked together a little forum for us Aussies, if you want to use it or not; your choice, lets just see how it goes

Obviously will improve it as time goes on

Stretch Combi
Ok, I realise the answer is usually "coz I can" but why the hell woula anyone stretch a beaten up Kombi like that? And then not repaint it? Was the interior bare metal?
I think it was the style they were going for....
dunno...perhaps they will paint it eventually...

That's right its coming up fast so for all you from down under Happy Australian Day. When we were in OZ we were in Cober Pedy on Australia Day. We (our small travelling group) were invited to celebrate with the town. One of more odd events was a visit to the town cemetary where some guy had a keg of beer mounted on his stone and you are invited to have a pint on him and toast his life. Don't know how often they put a keg out in that heat but there was one mounted on Australia Day. Just one of many great and strange things that happened on our 2 month tour through OZ in 2005.
We're coming back and we hope to retire there. LEE
