Funny you should say '******". I was over on the mentioned site the other day and talk about some tight a** folks ! I posted in support of a fellow who had been rear ended by another car and I referred to the offender as a ****** and the thread auto censored my post replacing ****** with ******. Now I've seen other posts where the poster would exclaim "**** me" so I sent a follow up post inquiring why one could say "**** me" and not receive the auto censor but "******" received the XXX rating. In response, I got some rather arrogant responses questioning among other things my intelligence and my right to question some of their assertions. Now I realize i'm not British and my grasp of colloquisms may leave something to desire but what a bunch of tight a**es!:impatient You Aussies sound like a lot cooler lot!
All in all, some say that other forum is the top MINI forum. I say BS. No way. They are way too tight! Sorry for the rant but your ****** comment got me going.

 

The moderators seem to be having a field day over on the other mentioned site, I have seen several posts removed within minutes of them being posted :(

 

TBH Chris I've wondered how you've managed to stay untouched for so long given their pretty hardline stance on advertising and the like. Same for you too Kev.

 

Oh, not wanting to take away from NAM, but there's also HERE that we could congregate. Users who already have a VWvortex login are able to login with the same username and password too.

And there's no traffic on there, so it could be our own quasi-Australian site.

I have just noticed that a pic I posted this morning of a Caddy has been resized, it was only 640 wide???

 

it all happened very quickly...
got a PM from MINIAC telling me i'd "obviously ignored his previous PM's about picture posting etiquette", then I made the post in the vikings thread, which was deleted within about 2 minutes and I was banned.

 

So anyway... how the hell do I put a sig on my posts over here??

What lens did you use for this shot? The exif data says it was 1/15 shutter speed. That's a steady hand you have there ol boy.

 

was with the 10-22, that car was in the next lane to us
