Well, we are excited to announce a new addition to our garage. Jim bought an '06 MCS yesterday in Rogers. Twiggy likes her new garage mate. His name is Blu Maxx. He is hyper blue with a white top. One more two Mini family in the club.

But wait....didn't Twiggy have new black shoes last time I saw her? Did she have issues or could it be that Maxx was adopted BEFORE Twiggy got her new shoes??? Were you holding out on us????

 

I took Twiggy's black shoes off of her until March. Those tires evidently aren't that great for cold temperatures(If we ever start having any around here-75 degrees today)

I was thinking Twiggy was the yellow with black feet, but started wondering after I saw the pics. Glad to hear that report about the cold weather issue though! I was considering getting some myself. Were they just loosing air or what?

 

No, they weren't losing air. They're just summer high performance tires and it gives Jim something to do switching the new wheels off with my old wheels with the all season run flats.

 

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification. Glad to hear it too. I'm lazy and probably wouldn't be too big on swapping tires very often...lol.

 

OH MY GOD! Congratulations! Do you still have the Miata? Surely, you didn't trade it in, but I don't see it in any pictures.

Another two MINI family, will the rest of us be able to live up to your standards? Jim, did you get tired of switching driving positions and decide to get your own?

Anyway, he looks GREAT and I want to Welcome Blu Maxx to the fam, too.

Now that's a garage full of fun there! My hubby has been playing on the configurator a time or two as well... Maybe Minerva will have as good a garage companion as Blue Maxx one of these days!

 

Mark's Deimos should be arriving at port in SC sometime in the next week or so, so maybe we'll be next! Not having a carport and fearing for the safety of our cars during a hailstorm, as well as general seasonal wear and tear, we just purchased and are awaiting installment of a metal carport. I swear, if it's not buying something to apply TO the cars, it's buying something FOR the cars. No, it doesn't end.

 

I love it!!! Another hyper blue!!
