A few friends of mine that I hadn't seen in a while were surprised that I bought a MINI, some didn't know what it was but had 'seen one of those things' on the road before.

2 people told me they didn't think I was a MINI kind of person.

What the heck IS a MINI kind of person? I've yet to meet another mini owner. So I'd like to get an idea of who you guys are.

I'm going to guess that MINI enthusiasts/owners are of all ages, mostly intelligent, fun, positive people.

Don't know, I just knew when they came out in the US I had to have one. After my trip to the UK in March to see family (mom is english), and seeing them EVERYWHERE I knew it was time to just do it and get one!

Interesting, perhaps, but none of that says what a MINI owner is. A MINI owner is someone who has a MINI and probably loves it despite all its, and its manufacturer's shortcomings (no pun intended).

I work in the construction business. Honestly, it's a risk to buy a Mini in this business, because, unfortunately, to most construction guys, driving a Mini means being gay. To them, an F350 pickup is what being a man is all about. But, I've always been somewhat of a rebel and don't give a crap what some of these neanderthals 'think'.

Minis are classic and hella fun to drive. Just like me.
