We've got some with us, fresh this morning, and none got eaten on the trip (thus far... ). Come and find us on Thursday, we'll have a Canadian flag on our aerial.
My lightning blue R56A has "MYSTIQUE" on both doors, with the "s" in the word being the S of cooper s logo...hard to miss. We have a 7:15pm Thursday night car wash appointment, and you could always leave a note at the front desk with a room phone number. Our last name is EUSEY.
Thanks...cant wait, its been 2 1\2 years since a timbit...
geez! coming from marin on 27th leaving about 6-630am i5 to st route 138 through palmdale to 15. hopefully arrive 3-4pm, can't wait.first time!
ricbow - unless you have to go to Palmdale... take I5 to 46 and jump over to 99 south to 58 which hit 15 @ Barstow - a easy route (I've taken it for 6-years now).
OMG, If anyone from Canada could bring some HONEY DIP TIMBITS that would be amazing...not sure how they'd hold up in a MINI full of people and gear, but if you happen to stop before the border (and the border man lets you keep em...) please oh please, for the sake of Rick Mercer and all that's holy, bring on the honey dip timbits!
I'll be at the Palace Station from Thursday around 2pm, with the TALL Red Head husband...
I have arrived at the Palace Station. I will leave a small box of rather stale timbits at the registration desk for you. Or look for the black-eye purple MINI with BC plates.
Us poor folks who couldn't make it this year would like to see some pics!!!!!
Here's my AMVIV6 set. I will be adding a few as I have time and access to the internet. In the meantime, there are a few there to wet your appetite. Check often over the next couple of months or so as I also took a few pix using my 0ld film equipment.
I was trying to make it to Klamath Falls OR on our first leg home. We only made it to Alturas. MINI did not complete the trip unscathed. Somewhere, there is a big gray Hare (big rabbit?) playing his harp in bunny heaven. MINI has a broken front center air dam but will survive the drive home.
They have some huge Jack Rabbits down there! I used to live in Reno and Vegas. Nobody ever believed me on how big they got till they came to visit and I showed them. Did you hit him at night? Thats when I used to see them. They are attracted to the road by headlights. If you watch on the side of the road you'll see them.
Uploading some now, but so bushed, I may just let it run overnight and get some sleep. 13 hours of driving home today... (after yesterday's tame 9 hours)
