You can do that with Google Maps. Click on get directions, and enter the to and from zip codes.

Yes, but I want something I can feed 300+ zipcodes into without having to do them 1 at a time.

Why don't you just do the ones you know traveled pretty darn far? That would reduce it to less than 50, I would think.

Still too labor intensive considering all the time demands these days.

I define good as anytime my wife says to slow down more than once while hanging on

From Ridgecrest go back north on Trona road (Pit of the Earth) and then east through Death Valley. We're not hosting a DV run this year so if you're interested there's your chance
Thanks! I'll keep this in mind. It'll make the trip more interesting that's certain.

Last year went from Charlotte NC to Biloxi Ms, New Orleans, Houston TX, Phoenix AZ and it was 3422 miles one way, coming back I had 2268 on I-40. I spent a day at each stop except Houston 2 days and 3 days in Phoenix with Scott of CooperCards and we drove up with the Arizona members. It was a great 2 1/2 weeks for me. On the way home spent time in Amarillo, Little Rock and hard to pass up Beal Street in Memphis, love Blues & BBQ.

Sin Mini: When comparing the route you've kindly suggested, and the route we're planning, there's only a 45 minute difference according to Google Maps.

And the way I drive......

If you are going southbound on 99 and exit in Delano to follow 155 to 178 in Lake Isabella check your gas gauge. The 155 exit in Delano is at 9th Ave and Ellington St. 155 follows Ellington St parallel to 99 to 4th Ave and makes a left turn to go under 99. Three streets east of 99 on the left at 4th Ave and High Streets is the only gas station you are going to see until you get to the junction of 155 and 178 in Lake Isabella. CalTrans does close 155 due to snow but you will not see their road closed sign until you are well up into the mountains. If closed you will have to return to Delano on what gas you have left in your tank. Willum and I did this route in 2006 and we passed a CalTrans snow plow coming down the mountain before we got to the road closed sign which was still showing road closed when we got to it. We kept on going since we had seen the plow before getting to the sign and we did gas up in Delano.

Anyone considering crossing the Sierra's to go to AMVIV should be checking the road conditions on the web.

I dunno what those Canadians do up there in Canadia. Aus uses "post codes", but I never lived in Canada. Too bloody cold for me!
Sorry Xiek. I owe you a hug when you get here.

Agro does great hugs.

I'm checking to see if there is any plans for a convoy (caravan?) of MINIs from Southern CA on Wednesday. Even though I'm from BC, my wife and I decided we will go early and visit relatives in Fullerton. It would be great if I could sneak in behind a line of MINIs/minis.

Yeah I'm going again this year! allready registered and just booked my room cant wait xiek I'll take some turkish delights again this year if u dont mind, pm sent.
anyone else a skier/boarder? I'm planing a big west coast road trip leading to amviv, thinking of riding Tahoe with my buddy who I'd meet there for a few days, then drop down to Mammoth for at least one day of riding then off to Vegas for AMVIV festivities. maybe even check out Mount Charlston (near vegas) for one day.

sugguestions? i'd be coming from So Cal
initial thought:
Los Angeles -> Tahoe -> Mammoth -> AMVIV
I was also thinking:
Los Angeles -> Park City -> Tahoe -> Mammoth -> AMVIV
and if I was really crazy
Los Angeles -> ??? -> Whistler -> Mt. Hood -> Tahoe -> Mammoth -> AMVIV

edit: so as not to hijack this thread i also asked my skiing question on the off topic thread https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ml#post2663163

Well flight is booked and I'm getting excited. I'm flying out to meet up with taligator and we'll be driving from the Bay area Wednesday morning. So far I'm the only PhillyMINI member going. See everyone there!
