Any more pics of this R56? I want to know how it is SOOOOO low. Anyone know the owner, or what setup this beast is running? I only saw it briefly before the strip run, and did not get close enough to inspect. It really looked nice that slammed.

That might belong to a member of Arizona's DMC group. He brought his MINI that and had it modded. I'll find out.

We had a great short visit to AMVIV. Sorry we didn't get to meet a lot of folks.

We did take some pics... whomever has the R56 PW with the pink Skurvy stripes, please pipe up... we must try to meet and take pics together of our MINIs... I have the Mrs. Skurvy by Paul Frank on my roof and we have matching Pirates of the Carribean antenna *****... The stripes are awesome BTW

Here are my pics... http://www.flickr.com/photos/kplace/...7604356260920/

The PW with skurvy stipes would be me. Mike of AC installed them for me on Thurs and I agree he did an awesome job with the design and installation.

Not sure when we would meet again except at AMVIV next year or at MITM 08. I live in CO. and it looks like you live in GA? Not planning on going to the dragon-I'm kinda over road trips and April is still too soon to do it again

I think I saw you at the banquet- did you have on a shirt with Ms Skurvy on it?

PS I also have a tattoo of skurvy. Yeah I kinda like skulls esp skurvy-can you tell

Well.. boo... we might make AMVIV next year, but I just don't see how we'll be able to get enough Va-K to drive out there.

Yep... that was me with the Mrs. Skurvy tee on. She's on my roof... and yes, I have a Skurvy problem too... I just plain have a Paul Frank problem.... and maybe a pink problem too... maybe I need help.... nah.

Very cool to have a Skurvy buddy in the MINI world.

As this week goes by and time allows over the next few days I will be adding pictures to this album in my picasa area for AMVIV 5.

AMVIV 5 Selected

Other albums are open for browsing in my picasa public area too.

Don

I'm heading back to Colorado from San Diego on Thursday, we have a dinner in about 30 minutes with some of the SD MINI folks from WCM.

Fun times, AMVIV continues South in SD.

I just checked out the video camera, and the footage that I took with my big-**** window camera mount turned out very good. I've got just about all the Route 66, RedRock and strip cruise runs in 1080i widescreen. If there is any interest, I can look into possibly converting some of it onto Youtube. LMK.

Here is a great photo of Cruise Night from the Stratisphere. Wish I could take credit. It was posted on our REME albums website. Can you see us waving???

Sorry I guess I'll have to get the original...big enough to see.

George mentioned the name TC Kine or TC Kline a few times... See if that helps?

Yes that was TC Kline's car. I'm told that the suspension is very sorted (as you would expect from somebody like him...it's what he's known for).

He's got many years of professional racing experience (BMW's), has owned a race team for 20+ years, and showed it on the track day. Smoked off pretty much everyone in an essentially stock r56, save the suspension mods.

My photos

http://picasaweb.google.com/dccoleman53/AMVIV2008

It was our first ever MINI event, and while we were only able to attend on Friday night and Saturday day, we had a blast!

Did anyone else think half of the cars went the wrong way on the Mt. Charleston run? I think a large group of cars followed a "Just happened to be motoring" MINI and made a wrong turn...

Todd and DB were AWOL on Saturday morning (notice empty booth picture) just what DID they do after the Strip run on Friday? (Was his name "DB" before he got a Cooper?)

To Mrs. Skurvy and minmor719; while I don't have Skurvy on my car, I'm glad to see other pirate themed MINIs out there. There aren't enough of us so far as I'm concerned.

Great photos everyone!
