Hooray for Aussies coming to AMVIV!!!!!! Have you been to the States before? I hope you have a fun and safe trip.

 

I met Daisygirl last time she was in Vegas. She had a JCW brake kit drop shipped to me and I delivered it to her hotel in exchange for some Aussie beer, rum and chocolate. Win for everyone except my wife who doesn't get any of the rare Aussie chocolate.
I hope Daisygirl realises that Palace Station rooms are nice, but they can't compare to the Wynn, where she stayed last time.

 

Why would she be spending any time in her room? Unless... well, nevermind.

 

Same reason we wont see you but for about 5 mins at AMVIV or is it we will only not see you for 5 mins?

I am wondering the same thing... but you can guess which way I'd like it to go. How many hugs do you think I can give in 5 minutes?

Keith, don't worry one at time and yes we are still on for Wednesdays drive, I thought maybe you can call me when you get to the first Yreka exit and I will jump on and catch you within a few minutes. I'm just off the freeway. Get gas in Medford if you need it cause the price just increases as you get further into California, espically Yreka.

Sorry to barge in...thanks for the advice. I'm thinking of spending the night in Medford on my way to Vegas. Hopefully, from Medford to Las Vegas is a one day drive?

 

The hot secretary that works here in the office. JK, I just picked some numbers out of the air and went with it.

 

879 miles in one day ... if you can keep it at 70 MPH and not stop it will take you 12.5 hours.
To play it safe you may want to wander further into CA before sleeping.

As a researcher, I find that unacceptable. This is a "hands on" project. Guesstimating is no substitute for quality field work. I guess if I want something done right, I just have to do it myself...

okay, it is finally official... i registered for AMVIV today!!!

i'll actually be there as a small vendor selling some t-shirts that I created, the designs of which you'll have to wait and see in Vegas. i "hope" to have a basic web site up right before the event and will post the address here.

looking forward to meeting everyone, drinking a beer or two... and well, you know the rest.

oh, and motoring 22+ hours from Memphis... i'll be posting asking for tunes and routes suggestions.
