All my road buddies are coming; Kat, JC, Rene, and just about everybody else. Don't know if Sweet Cheeks (Becky) will be there or not, she's get a wee one due in about 4 months .

If you are a member of the BC Cooper Club, talk to Kathy (velveteen mini) about hooking up with the group coming from PSMINI. We've got at least a dozen members taking between one and two days from the Puget Sound area. Many members don't like the CA/I-5 route one bit. Most cut over to US 93 at Twin Falls, ID. Others (like my family and I) just ride I-15 hard through UT and make it a two day. We actually have one member leaving Seattle after work on Wednesday, and arriving in Las Vegas before dinner on Thursday.

 

So, my Wife wants to know if there will be XXXX and TamTams available for our Vow Renewal?!? I opted for some Veggamite, but she overruled me!

FYI, We are shooting for 3 or 4 pm on Sunday for the Vow Renewal, and of course, all AMVIV participants are invited. If we fill the parking lot with MINIs, who's taking the pics???

 

Yup...I'm a member of the Vancouver club. And I'm the only one from the club going to AMVIV. I'm also going down early. My brother-in-law moved to Las Vegas a couple of years ago and we have never been there so thought we would go early and visit. This is my first time ever going to Vegas. We're going a week early and hope to arrive in Vegas next Monday night. It would have been earlier but I'm taking some pictures for a wedding (in Vancouver, not Vegas) on Saturday (the 17th). I would take the Utah route if I can be assured there would be no snow. I don't plan on going with snowtires on my car. Maybe the return trip. But I think we have to leave for our trip home on Saturday because Spring break ends on Monday and my daughter has to get back to school.

 

I can supply you with Vegemite sandwiches, I have plenty on hand.

XXXX is only consumed by Queenslanders who know that there are 4 letters in "beer" but aren't sure what they are. However, Daisygirl who is attending IS a Queenslander, so I guess it's possible.

Timtams are now sold at CostPlus World Market (in Vegas at least) as "Arnotts Chocolate Biscuits" within a 10 minute drive of Palace Station. I can give you directions if you want.


Have you decided on a chapel? That's late enough that the AMVIV "Scrounge Vegas" scavenger hunt shoul be all done, and you could get a decent turn out. You supplying beer for the guests?

I was hoping to, assuming that the chapel doesn't have any issues with it (some have issues with folks taking pictures on their property...they want you to buy theirs...). As Agro asked, which Chapel did you pick? If we could get "Elvis" to pose with the cars (assuming that was the Chapel you picked), that would make a GREAT photo!

 

You bringing eyeballs? I had already contacted miniswag (like last year) about eyes so he gets first dibs at selling me purple eyes for my car, but if he forgets, I was going to talk to you about it.

 

hahaha yeah I sure will...plus some other things (I'll be debuting my secret goodies at AMVIV but will post here after the show!). So maybe if you don't get eyes you can get something else
