Beer doesn't have that effect on me. I get full before I get drunk. Remember, I'm Australian.
Um...underwear? I wouldn't bet on it.

Australians don't use 'w' in place of 'f', do they?
Or is that your Elmer Fudd impersonation? Wascawy Agwo...

No, it's a pretty standard contraction of "no wucking forries" which avoids the censors on "no f'in worries".

If it's a contraction, how did the 'r' get between the 'e' and the 's'?
Yea, I know, the grammar thread is -----> that way.

Besides, if it was Australian, everyone knows it would have been followed with 'mate'.

The r came from the forries part.
The cool thing about calling everyone "mate" is that you never have to remember anyone's name.

Huh. And I thought it was because you wanted to mate with them.
Seriously, it's not a question? "How you doing? Mate?"
That's why Aussies always get lucky. If you ask enough, you're bound to find someone.

It's not "How you doing?" That's a New York (or at least American) thing.
It's "Howyagoin?"
And acceptable responses include:
"Wouldn't be dead for quids."
"Flat out like a lizard drinkin."
"Not bad."
"Pretty bloody crook!" - only valid if you're currently sick
"Dryza!" - Dry as a nun's nasty = I'll have a beer please.

Should fall under his name - like the 'gear' indicator - of course it would have to be: 6-pack, case, pony keg etc.

So.. just out of curiosity, has anyone (anyone = a MINI couple) ever done anything like get married while at AMVIV?

I heard something about a couple getting married while at MTTS, but I was just wondering if something like that had ever happened at AMVIV.

They might have, but didn't make a big deal about it that I heard. I've been there three times. AMVIV!! Not marriage !!!

I was there in Dallas, when that couple got married on MTTS and after the great party I went out and got a tattoo . Don't know if there's a connection , but I did have a few beers that night.

Are you thinking about it??? Can I come if you do? I just looooove wedding :impatient .

May your roads be clear and your turns tight,
Keith

My wife and I didn't get married during AMVIV, but we did get married in Vegas in July of '04.

There was a couple that got married in Dallas during MTTS at the Gypsy Tea Room. Don't have it handy, but there was some coverage of it in MC2 in the issue where they covered MTTS.
