I really, really want to go to this as one of my best friends lives in Vegas and will be 7 months preggy at the time. I also want to show off my Mary, but figuring out what to do with my kids in the meantime is something else. I guess I have a few months to figure that part out.

Four of us in a MINI driving from Houston doesn't sound like too much fun! Plus, no room for luggage!

I'll 4th it! Not only does Agro pour himself into this huge event, but he offered to drop a set of driving instructions from last year off at my hotel when went on vacation to Vegas last weekend! MINI folks are very cool!
PS: If you need a romantic dinner destination in Vegas and the weather is nice, I can whole-heartedly recommend Mon Ami Gabi in the Paris hotel on the strip. They take reservations for inside tables, but you want to show up about 40 minutes early and get your name on the list for a patio table. These tables are on the strip, just about 1 floor above the sidewalk. The restaurant is across the strip from the Belagio, so you have a view of the fountain show every 10-15 minutes. Go after dark and the show is spectactular. The food (classic french, but not over the top) is excellent and the price wasn't too bad ($80 for 1 soup, 1 salad, 2 entrees, 1 dessert, 1 large bottled water, 1 glass wine - not bad for the prices in Vegas). The flourless choc. cake is to die for.
