Oh, and I heard the count for the strip run was 168... Thats alot of MINIs to be on the strip!! I was so upset that my horn fuse blew, I almost cried!! I think that was one of my favorite parts of the entire trip... But the whole thing was entirely too much fun. I am so ready for March!!

 

We always have a few. This year, a group of 4 Canadians flew down the weekend before and rented a convertible MINI for the week. We get people who are waiting on MINIs, who have sold their MINI, who are into Minis and MGs and Triumphs and the like who are curious, and people who couldn't take enough time off work to drive in but could fly in. There are usually plenty of people with empty co-pilot seats so that even without a MINI, you can likely do most of the drives.

 

Okay here we go again, I just got my room booked, In the Tower, asked for a room facing the parking structure but they will only put in the request. Whoo Hoo can't wait

 

This will be the first AMVIV the hubby and I attend, so add two to last year's count. Cars are a GP and a daisy MCSC.

 

I'm hoping/planning to have my classic there as well as the LY/B.
When are you moving here April?

 

First big load is due in late November. Move should be completed by spring.

1nf3rn0, I've driven it in an Eagle Talon, and a classic Mini. It's not that bad. Make sure you leave yourself plenty of time so you aren't too tired to enjoy Vegas properly.

We're trying to work this out;

Go to Sedona and do the Twisties first
OR
Go to Las Vegas, go on runs all day, dance all night, drink beer all night, dance somemore, drink a little more beer, go up and look at all the MINIs, drink some beer and then maybe, maybe get some sleep. Then get up for day 2.

I really, really want to go to this as one of my best friends lives in Vegas and will be 7 months preggy at the time. I also want to show off my Mary, but figuring out what to do with my kids in the meantime is something else. I guess I have a few months to figure that part out.
