I bought them because there was an event coming up and I needed something to use while my harnesses were on back-order. A death in the family rearranged my plans and by the time I could reschedule my harnesses had come in and I didn't need the CG locks any more.

The CG locks work very well for what they're designed for. They're a good step for folks who want to lock down their seatbelts and don't want to be setting up harnesses. You can leave the CG locks in place and use your seatbelts normally if you want to and lock them down when you need to as opposed to installing and pulling harnesses out of the car or dealing with harness belts laying around tangling things up.
