I think the intake sucks in the air, the supercharger squishes it, it goes bang in the cylinder and blows out the exhaust.
Took me a little while to guess what it meant. . .

do a goole search. yucca you are correct. it is a very old car phrase, and its tastefully raunchy at the same time.

Hey there,
We were taught that in high school auto shop -- the 4 cycles of a Otto cycle engine ( all 4 stroke / automotive engines....almost all
)
1. intake = suck
2. compression = squish
3. ingition or power = bang
4. exhaust = blow
It was a easy way to remember the cycles / strokes of the engine - for us kids
Man....that was a LONG time ago!!
