My friend bought this to use and has come on hard times. So I am selling this for them. Please help me help them pay some bills. This product is top notch quality.

This is a NEW complete kit and never been installed. Will work on MINI Coopers from 2002-2006. S models also. Unit will be sold as is. Buyer to pay for shipping via UPS Ground.

All trailer receiver hitches have a maximum 100 lb tongue weight rating and a maximum 1000 lb gross weight rating and meet SAE J684 and V-5 standards when combined with a drawbar kit. NEVER exceed recommended loading ratings for Trailer Receiver Hitch or Miniature Trailer.

I think he said its a 2004 with a backup light

I have installed two other styles of hitches already..
If this doesn't get any play let me know..I would make an offer on
the hitch, I stock all the rest of what you have in this package, so
I wouldn't be interested in the rest.

I can't spend that much... but I would like it, seems like I could use it to haul cargo in a cargo box of some sort that fits into a hitch, or maybe some innovative snowboard rack...

 

Just a bit of advice, we bought a hitch from miniature trailers for our '05 mc, we upgraded to a '06MCS, and the hitch was not compatible, the exhaust is different from a MC to a MCS, even though it says it will fit the S also, it doesn't. Brent at miniature trailers was nice enough to rush us a new hitch and receiver, we received it the day before we left for MOTD . The mini hauled the trailer (we took a sportbike) great , we were impressed.

How much would it be to ship to Utah? I might be interested, I've been looking at the hitches the past few days on the miniaturetrailer.com site.

 

Didn't realize they had a different model for the "S" .
So which one is the one you are selling here.
There is a thread here saying the hitch could not be
transferred from a 05' cooper to an 06' "S"

 

This was purchased as their site says to fit both Coopers and Cooper S.

I can answer that for you "NO"... I believe that is the deLan or something like that... it hangs down and the receiver sticks out below the skirt.
Bad bottoming out especially if car is lowered...

 

is the hitch located in nor cal near the free install?
where exactly in nor cal, might be worth the long drive

 

Napa Valley....50miles north of the city..i.e. San Francisco, you can buy some wine while your here..
