Does anyone know where I can buy the Disney Pixar "car eyes" sun shade? I saw them on a cooper in a pic- and would love to have those "eyes" for my mini!

 

Apparently they were a State Farm promotional product and are fairly hard to find. Someone could make some $$$ on them though were they more readily available, especially given the popularity of Cars-esque sigs around here!!!

 

I would get one if the price was right

 

I believe SF must have made them in limited numbers or sold them at limited locations during the Cars movie promotion period.

I work in a SF builing with a thousand other people and a State Farm Store and I've never seen them in our store nor in our huge @ss (that's larger than your ordinary huge) parking lot.

I'd like to have a few of those myself.

I found mine on ebay. They are way too large for the MINI so I had to borrow a friends MINI shade to use as a pattern. I then edged it with silver duct tape. Gets a lot of looks and laughs.

 

This seller has 4 as of this morning. Is it the same shade? The picture a few post above looks a little different.

The image I posted above came from one of his auctions, he asys it is the same one in posting #8, and it does come in the original packaging. That's the one I bought. I'll let you know when I get it.

This one indicates measurements at 47 inches long. What's up with the difference?

 

I have ahard time believing that they are a true 67" across. I measured my truck and my Lexus and neither one could take a 67" sunshade. I ordered one from post 8. I'll measure it when I get it this week.
Should get a laugh in the parking lot. My wife thinks the Mini looks like a cartoon as it is!

 

We bought one on eBay, and I'd have to measure it to be sure, but 67" across sounds about right. It was so huge, we couldn't imagine it fitting any car. Sits in the garage, waiting for the next trip to Goodwill.

 

Why don't you just cut it down to fit ? The edges might be a little rough but you can put some heavy tape around them. That would keep it from getting beat up on the edges, too.

 

Goodwill? Offer it up here. Folks are paying $15-35 for this treasure. Better yet, trim it down to fit your Mini most of us are resorting to doing.

Hey Royno, props to you for offering yours up, I also saw this thread and jumped on the band wagon as I thought I'd like to make my car look like my sig (sometimes)! I found a guy on ebay last week who had 3, two were on a buy now for $17.99 + $6.00 to ship and one was bids only which ended up selling for $21.50!!! LOL why do people do that????

Eager2own thanks for posting the pic, obviously you had to cut it down but the nice thing is it still shows well in our smaller windshields which was my only concern
