(CLOSED) JCW suspension FS

I just found a local guy who does suspension work and am thinking about switching to coilovers. What do you guys think the full JCW suspension kit is worth with about 35k miles on it? I also have a brand new set of M7 springs that I would need to sell as well. Any input would be appreciated.

Also, for those of you that have coilovers, how is the ride quality? Any issues with any particular brand?

Good thing there is members like you that have to be rude & bring others down & bring a members sale down also.

M7 sportsprings = $215.00 plus shipping.
JCW struts = $655.00 plus shipping.
Shipping can be from $30.00 to $100.00 depending on location.

So we would have a total of $900.00 to $970.00 new.So his items being used I would say $400.00 to $600.00 would be a good starting point.

Wow,I guess I am not delusional but I can stop,do math & be kind to others.

You my friend have earned the arshattery of the day award.

Aren't the springs for the JCW suspension matched by VIN?

I may have miscommunicated. I have the JCW springs and shocks on the car, and have a set of M7 springs that I was planning on installing instead of the JCW springs. I understand that they ride better and will lower the car a bit more. If I bought coilovers I would get rid of both, but I am not sure if the benefits would be worth it or not.

Lighten up there, joer. The $655 is for new JCW shocks and springs aka 'JCW suspension'. It's not likely that someone would purchase two sets of springs at the same time, and shipping would occur in any case.
How long do the shocks last? Who knows, but I'm with minimonsterthunder - used =~ 1/2 new. Used consumeables, less than that.

Lighten up?How should I go about doing so?All I stated was he was being rude & I have seen it way to many times & the Mods just about never jump in & do there mod/title they have for this section of the forum.

I am not the one going around not following rules on the forsale forum.I think it is plain rude to post a sale item & other people chime in to either get there post count up or cause drama.

I am not mad, being rude or evan disrespectfull.I am just tired of A-holes being rude in this section.

You are totally right, it would be much more Polite to give someone false hopes as to the value of a used suspension with 35,000 miles on it (possibly in the hopes of selling them my own coilovers!) than to give honest input when they asked. I stand corrected. Deepest apologies if I offended your sensibilites Mr joe r Sir. You have truly proven whom the "arsehat" is here. Have a fabulous day
