You have a picture of the mini madness puller and a link to the Ultrik puller from mini mania . . . could you clarify which puller it is as some work better than others.

there is no difference between the tools, take a look at them, they are identical minus the engravings

If you have a pulley that will come off easily, this is the way to go. (trust me as I used the Alta remover, it worked great but removing the tensioner add hours!)

only if there was a way to know if my pulley would come off easily. I've heard some horror stories about stubborn pulleys and the mini mania removal tool not working so well..

i am in need of pulley removal tool but with 73k miles i have a feeling my pulley is going to be quite the stubborn one!

I used this type of puller to do my pulley upgrade and it worked like a charm. The original standard pulley is a pressed fit so I have a hard time believing that some are harder to remove than others. As long as you pull it off square to the shaft there shouldn't be a problem. Not having to pull off the tensioner was a big help.
Good product, good deal.

i agree with the pulley being able to come off easier on some cars, as they are pressed, and a loose pulley would be dangerous

if you have air tools this thing will pop the pulley off in a snap, someone needs to ****** this

A lower price would help. MiniMania has it on their website for $99.

and you would like me to lower my price why? the tool is as good as it was the day i bought it and usually it will cost about 15 dollars to ship this little peice depending on how far away you are. so in fact i am sellin the tool for 75 dollars. If you live on the west coast, then no it wont cost as much and i will take the price down. happy?

dude, what's with the tone? i'm not trying to haggle here i'm just stating that if you're trying to sell it a potential buyer may consider buying from you if the asking price is worth having a tool that's going to be used only once instead of renting the tool or borrowing from a local shop. It has nothing to do with making me happy or not. Good luck selling it.

haha tone huh? anyways thanks for all your help, and good luck to anyone RENTING this tool or one similar to it. the whole purpose of the tool is to eliminate the necessity of removing the tensioner. If when doing the install you want to remove the tensioner, then this is not the tool for you. clearly stated, and yes if after the install you want to sell it, you can, thats the beauty of this site
