SOLD: Custom Garmin Streetpilot MINI Mount

This is a custom mounting for a Garmin StreetPilot of the 2xx0 series (2620, 2720, etc.) which uses the serrated-disk type of mount.

The mounting is a ten-minute install for any MINI with the optional speedo/tach instrument cluster on the steering wheel: the two-headed option. The Garmin is held just to the right of the speedo and just high enough to give a good view and access to the touch-screen. It is easily removable from the bracket.

Install instructions: a) remove speedo/tach with two screws from above, b) disconnect the electrical connector, c) remove the screw closest to center (keep it), d) insert the rubber plug and bracket, and the longer supplied screw but do not tighten yet, d) remove the outer screw and replace with the rubber plug and the longer screw, e) tighten both screws, f) replace speedo cluster.

I'm asking $60 for the bracket, plus $5 for UPS Ground.

If you like, for $160, shipping included, I'll also sell my StreetPilot 2720 to go with it.

The 2720 is in like-new condition, with all accessories: MINI logo startup screen, bean-bag, remote control, AC and vehicle power cords, USB cable. This GPS actually speaks street-names, not just "turn right in 200 feet...", and it has the Jan, 2008 map updates installed.

If the 2720 doesn't go in a few days, I'll eBay it, so now's your chance to get a great deal on a MINI-customized GPS...

Would you happen to have any photographs of the GPS/mount installed and attached to the steering column? I am interested, but I am concerned it may interfere with the gauges I already have.

Your apology is not accepted... ...because it was not necessary in the first place!

Glad it worked out.

It should be a good time. I will "pass"(read detour) by it twice going to Myrtle Beach and back. The first time may be at night then the second will definetely be in the day time.
