these are readily available, just not from US MINI dealers. Good price by the way....less than I paid for mine from Austria.

he did.... http://www.newcountrymini.com/

not hard to get....a cursory google search yields many a GP VIN to use, whether or not that's cool is up to you.

Ehh....nevermind

Look at all the bumps this is getting.

BTW, the ones out of Austria ran a bit more + shipping. THis is one heck of a price on new one. Not so easy to get part. Hope the dealer doesn't get dinged for it. Mini is trying really hard to protect the GP from replicas.

Mini is being stupid...

it would take a LOT of work to fully duplicate a GP. They should just sell the go fast goodies and bank the money.

The shelby Mustang clones aren't doing anything to detract from the real Shelbys. Could even make an argument that they increase the value of the Shelbys by keeping the look alive much more than the few originals ever would.

Some people in Mini/BMW need their heads examined. Those that want to will make the power, whether they use Mini/BMW parts or aftermarket. Why walk away from the money?

Matt

ps, the GP IC is a good unit, and even at the low price for the IC and the high price for the cover, it's competitive with the aftermarket, and that's really what matters.

I'm sooo pXssXd

I've sent the money, he accepted it, now he's having a tissy fit and wants to keep the IC. If he changes his mind, I'll amend this post, but right now he's a POS. I had to really scramble to come up with the money to buy this. Sold some stuff that I maybe should'nt have .(I think the diverter was not with it, and the stock non GP unit will not work,so that would have been a problem)
