He said "dibs" **IF** it came with the other 2 items. It does not. Therefore, he made no offer to purchase. In the meantime, someone else offered and paid for the item.
Money talks and BS walks. If you want to purchase an item for sale, you pay for it and that's it. You don't express possible interest and then expect the seller to wait for you. That's just stupid.
IMO...i think you should have left it for jymontoya..seeing that he inquired about it first. if it didnt fall through sell it to the person next up. i mean..you WILL sell it eventually. didnt seem like you were in a rush to sell it either.
cause i mean..A LOT of people want this.
so first person that inquires about it should get first dibs.
but this is all MY opinion. everyone's different.
as long as everything is ok now.
Does it have the 2 additional items that usually go with it?
Dibs if it does.
Just to chime in - the latter is the key phrase.
Very different from 'Dibs either way'. It's a conditional offer. The condition was not met. Could the seller have waited to see if he wanted it anyway? Sure, but why do that when he specifically said he wanted it IF.
reasonable reasonable. not trying to argue. just stating my point of view.
but he DID say if. guess im half and half.
but this thread is over and done with anyways.
