The date for our May Meet N Eat has been shifted a bit later due to the upcoming MOTD.

We will be meeting at Dave's Pizza in Homewood on Tuesday, May 15th. Dave's has more than just plain old pizza. They have regular & gourmet pizzas, salads, sandwiches & calzones. Click here to check out their menu (I am partial to the pollo-pesto pizza ) If I remember correctly they have a patio so we can dine outside if the weather is nice.

Dave's is located at 1819 29th Avenue South, the phone is 871-3283. There are a zillion ways to get there but if anyone needs guidance just PM me & I will make you a map

 

Dave's was also famous, for you could order a pizza delivered in a REAL LIVE MINI COOPER. That's what the weekly newspaper write-up said and everything.

 

Well I never knew Dave's used a MINI for deliveries. I wonder if they still do

 

Hey everybody don't forget we have our Meet-N-Eat featuring pizzapizza & whatnot coming up next Tuesday (edited to correct day)

 

Their pizza is AWESOME. If you ever need to take a dish to a potluck dinner, carry in the holstein pizza box (think Gateway computers) and folks light up like you brought them Krispy-Kremes.

Sometimes there's a PW MINI parked outside Dave's Bar on 20th and Twelfth in Southside. I don't know the delivery vehicle they used, but somewhere as you all know, it was mentioned the number of pizza boxes which fit in the MINI's passenger foot space.

 

Dave's Pizza is a really kool pizza joint. They had outside dinning when we were there last. Wish we could join you. It is just not practical to be there on a week-nite coming from Mobile.

Nice catch, thank you. This month we are all out of whack on day & date. We are meeting Tuesday, yes, Tuesday Tuesday Tuesday. I have changed my incorrect post

 

I will not be able to make this one because at the last minute my job/work sent me out of town. I'm in Fairhope Alabama as I type this note. When I say last minute, I mean 6:30am them morning I found out about going out of town.
I really hate to miss this one because it is so close to were I work or where the office is.
Anyway Eat some pizza for me.
