Hey Everybody,

A friend of ours has asked for some help, Mrs. Mary McCrary who owns a gold and black mini is looking to get a group together for a very special person, his name is Darren Fugua a 17 yr older senior who has MS. Darren really likes the mini's and Mrs. McCrary is asking if we would do something special for him by getting as many mini's together for Darren to see and do a small run.The meet up will be on Jan. 29 at 11:00am at the Parkway Place back lot on the Parisian side. If you can just come for a little while that would be great, I'm working on the run and will send it out this weekend. :smile:

 

The BMWCCA's first meet of 2005 will also be on the 29th-Im not sure if that will be a problem or not, or how many BAMAMINI members are also BMWCCA members. I know the BMWCCA meet will be at 1:00 at the barber motorsports park. Dont know if any of this will interfere, as I have already made reservations, but then again I have never had the opportunity to go to a MINI meet:smile: (especially for a good cause.)

 

That's ok, we will meet up the next time , I would love to make a lap on the track.

 

I'm not familiar with Parkway Place or Madison. Is the mini run in Madison?
Please post directions. I'm available that day but I'm not sure of the location. By the way, this is my second post. wooohoooo!

Parkway Place is a shopping mall on the corner of Memorial parkway and Drake Av. in Huntsville.:smile: Where are you coming from?

 

we would be coming from Birmingham. Looks like 90 miles or so from us. We have already put 4600 miles on the Mini since we picked it up 6 weeks ago.

Sounds like you drive alot like I do. I have 31000 on my mini in only 8 months time. Anyway I'm going to this event this weekend too. I'm come up from cullman so maybe I will see you on the way up.

31,000 miles!!! in eight months!!!!! WOW. Gees, I thought I had room to talk with 8,000 in two months. GEES.

 

I drive 120 miles everyday. Yep I average 4000 miles a month or somewhere in that range. February 15 will be 9 months and I now have 32500 miles on the Mini. Almost time for the next oil change!
