Wow, sounds like a great trip!
I'm gonna do everything in my power to make this one.

I am so sorry to have basicly dropped off the planet, but the list of what's happened for the last several months is too long and mundane to go in to detail. Its all been good though, busy, but good ....school, college, work, kids, grandkids, murals and portraits ~ oh my!

I promise, last week I was planning to come to the GoKart thing. I have a really bad problem with the heat when it gets up in the 90s.
I thought of taking pix of everyone riding the Karts but my hubby urged me to stay in that afternoon. He was right too, it was a hot one! I hate I missed it with the cool coverage and all.

I'm still tagging Mini's all the time, got a sweet Yellow one at Jim & Nick's Barbeque in Trussville yesterday

I'll keep my fingers crossed~

Good deal

I am pondering over what food to bring. I was thinking of doing a chicken pasta salad & cinnamon waldorf fruit salad cause I could toss it in the cooler easily. Anybody have any ideas? What do you want? What are you bringing

Thinking that we really wont know how all is coming, I would suggest bring enough for the folks coming with you, and if you want to bring extra that would be even better.
I would suggest everyone bring their own cooler with drinks.
Looking forward to it. I didn't make the run last time.

Well it's kinda hard to have a covered dish lunch if you only bring single servings

Did you invite the British Car Club?

Yes Bamatt, I know of a few already that are coming. So just as of the few that have said something here, I would say we have a atleast 6 to 8 cars going already.

I want to be sure... Are we no longer doing a covered dish lunch & instead just bringing food for ourselves to eat?

I think that might be the best thing to do. since we are not sure how many will be going. But again if you want to bring that really really good salad.
I will not stop you

Yes, that salad is great.

I can bring thermos' in tow. Lemonade, sweet tea- Maybe do up the cocktail sausage/croissant thingies?

Bamatt, you got your nav up to date? I guess we can drive through that field again. And LRC a little quicker I hope.

No I still have the same maps so I assure you if I am leading we will get lost driving in the "field" again but at least I do know to stop in Trussville to meet everyone this time & will not travel to Argo

What perfect timing! Friday I'm finally getting my first transmission fluid change and tune up done at Stephen's Garage, just turned over 30,000!
So Maxfield should be in better shape for the run.

Ok, just had a pow-wow with my gang. Because of one of my sons being on a gluten-free diet, we'll bring our own lunches and drinks. But I'll make a Big 'O Nana Puddin' for everyone to share (with bowls and spoons)

Any one else bringing teens? Just curious. Mine are Hayley-20, Devin-16 and Jonah-14~

Can't wait see you guys again....and the waterfall!

Oh any other motorcycles comin"?

I was thinking about joining ya'll but I hit a darn pot hole on I-59 near Alabama Adventure that has ruined a tire.
I will probably be spending Saturday dealing with that.

Anybody got a used 205/45R17 Dunlop run-flat to get me by?

Now our head count is 6. 4 in the Mini and 2 on the Harley.

We'll jump in where I-59 crosses 231 at the Oneonta/Ashville Exit.
If you can call me when your pulling out of the Pizza Hut and when you reach the Rest Stop just before 231 we'll be on the side ready to file in line.
I'll send my cell phone digits in a PM. Oh, and let me know the 2-way setting~

Thanx Geoff (sorry I spelled it Jeff before)

So whats the Mini count so far?
