Hey every one!

Please mark your calendars on October 24th. This is when we will have our 1 year anniversary drive. It would mean SO much to me if everyone and anyone would attend. I have not planned the route or any details yet BUT we will be leaving from College Station. If you are a non-aggielander, then make plans to come to College Station before hand.

We will probably have our Motoring Badges in by then as well as more shirts, maybe new shirts, and other fun birthday things.

So post here if you have marked your calendar and WILL be there. There will be a facebook event for this later on.

May have to make plans to join along! It will make two weekends in a row in CS, but it's not like we've never done that before!

 

So the plans are coming along! Route is done and i need to make a few calls about our "surprise" service project. Its about 150 miles total. the best driving roads in our area all in one drive! Plus a great stop for lunch! Get stoked!

 

Get ready for the best drive of the year! ITS OUR BIRTHDAY!

The drive will start in Lot 50 on the Campus of Texas A&M as always. We will wait for all of our friends from the Houston club and Dallas club! Then when we have everyone, we will embark on the FUN! Our route takes us on the 3 greatest driving roads in the area. Lunch will be in Brenham at a 50s style diner! We will end in Downtown Bryan for some extra fun! I am working with Downtown bryan to get us a parking lot so we can display our cars during FALL FEST (over 5000 people every year)!

There will be lots of free stuff for you to grab and win. (sponsorships from Mini of the Woodlands in the works)

We will also hopefully have motoring badges and stickers for you to purchase and advertise our club!

If you have never done a drive with us, THIS IS THE ONE!! There is no football game so you cant use that as an excuse!

I am new to CS and met a very nice young woman (Gwendolyn) about a month ago that gave me one of your cards. I would like to go on your 1 year birthday ride. That is also my husband's birthday, so this should be a great way to celebrate!
I am not on face book, but will definately keep checking this site to watch for the updates on the 1 year birthday road trip.

Alright!

So here are some changes:

We will NOT be going to fall fest at the end. Instead, our service project will to be to bring as many canned foods and non perishables as you can to the drive. We will all go and donate our cans together before we embark. This will really help out during the holiday season!

Second, we will be ending the drive and watching the Aggies BTHO tech!

I am still talking with some vendors about free stuff as well as some prizes to give away if you bring the most cans. See ya'll on the 24th at 11:30!!!

 

My husband is a Texas Tech grad and he will be riding with me (my first time to do anything with the group/Anniversary ride)...his question was would it be OK to wear his Tech hat and shirt...((*-*))....are you going to throw me out of the club even before I get to join??? LOL

I was just talking to Jeff at MINI of The Woodlands. (936) 271-2911 I am taking my MINI in for service this Thursday. I mentioned the anniversary ride and he said for you to get intouch with him about getting stuff for the give away. (Don't mean to be putting my 2 cents with in/maybe someone already did talk to some one there) I will be coming back to CS on Friday and would be glad to bring stuff back if need be??

Its totally fine to wear his Tech shirt i guess... lol. but no throwing tortillas out of the sunroof.
