Thank You MOTD organizers!

I just wanted to thank those who are responsible for this great event. As a Mini owner for only a couple of months, this was my first time attending the MOTD. My wife and I had a great time and it was amazing to see so many Mini's! The event was very well organized and I think everyone had a great time. My only regret is that we stayed in Bryson City and had to drive almost 40 miles to get to Fontana. Next year we will be in Fontana village so we can be involved in more activities. My favorite memory will be the Dragon Parade on Friday morning. Being rookies, we signed up for this because it said it was a "leisurely" drive of the Dragon. I soon learned my definition of "leisurely" was a little different from the typical Mini owner! We were at the tail end of the line and it was all I could do to keep the car ahead of me in sight! Thanks to the awesome handling of my Cooper S though, we did manage to finish the race...Ughh, I mean the ride, in one piece. It was an AWESOME weekend! Thanks again to all of those responsible for this event!

Yes, Snooter (Barry), Nathan and all the other people in the background did an EXCELLENT job!

KUDOS to you all and THANK YOU for hosting this event. This was my first “official” (cause I registered this time...lol) and I had a blast.

I met many old friends and made a bunch of new ones. I had a blast.

Hope to see ya’ll next year.

Had a wonderful time on Saturday when I drove up from Knoxville. I think the best part was this clean run up the hill as I was on the way in.

What a great time!!! We only spend two days at the event. This was also my first time attending this event. We drove down from PA Wednesday night into Thursday morning and unfortunately got stuck in traffic due to the tornado that passed through in Virginia. The events at Fontana and the Dragon definitely made up for a lot.

Having been to all 9 events, I will say that Barry and Robin have done ( and hopefully will continue to do) the BEST job ever. Kudos to you both and Nathan and all the other volunteers for another spectacular event!

Thanks for all the hard work!

MOTD was my first Mini Cooper event on the Dragon although I had been there many times previously with the Miatas the end of July. It was very organized...and I'm sure lots of hard work and time went into it...thanks again

Nice to see another former Miatas at the Gap attendee. I was one of the original 42 and went every year until this past year. I must say that I found the MINI crowd to be a *great* mob to be a part of. Each event is completely different (the Miatas are intentionally unorganized because of the roots of the "non-event") and the amount of organization that went into the MINI gathering was *amazing* to behold. As the one who was called the Chief Instigator for Miatas at the Gap for several years, my hat's off to all the organizers. Most impressive.

I had a real good time this year.... I got to mean #2 Orange.

You all do a great job each year! Every year I have attended I always have a good time! Next year I will be coming in early to enjoy more time.
Thanks for organizing and getting us MINI owners to gather all together!
