Event Planner Link not working
Why not? Kind of hard to plan paying for events if it is going to conflict with other events!!!!
For example, Sat AM, autocross being held at the same time as the Mini Pinewood derby event?

It says on the main page
"The Event Planner has not yet been launched. Clicking on it will redirect you to the MOTD Home page"
...so it's not broken. I'd guess some events are still being finalized. It'll come!

I may be wrong, but I believe all the paid events (at least paid through NAM) are in the registration system. The drives etc and a lot of other functions are free or should I say no additional cost and those are more numerous. They are often done by other folks, volunteers and thus come together later. Those I'd guess will take a wee bit longer to nail down and open the event planer.
Mark's probably been 100% occupied on getting the dinners paid events etc are lined up to open registration, and will now that reg is open be able to work on populating the event planer.
Just my guess but highly likely.

Thank you. Just ordered though. If Auto Cross is on Sat Am. then Steph will do the Pinewood Derby thing. She found it kind of boring watching me Auto Cross last year anyway,,,

Dragon Draggin' (that "Pinewood Derby Thing")
(^^ I guess you can even sing that to the old Rice-a-Roni tune...^^)
We have an option for Dragon Draggin' (the "pinewood derby thing"
) that you can drop your car off, have it checked in, and go on your merry way for a while! That way you can participate in the Saturday events while your car races and is judged in the Beauty Contest. It's kind of lame though, since we'll have door prizes that you can only win by being at the race! Ok, it's an option. I guess we can't please everyone, but we're sure trying!
We will not have babysitters, though, so we ask that no untended minors be left at the event as we cannot be responsible for them, only for their wooden Mini cars.
We're guessing that the actual racing can go on for 2+ hours if we have a full house, so if'n you're sure that your car is really competitive you can go and come back for the quarterfinals... but you'll still miss the door prizes... see you there!
