Ya, Gr8Force I understand what you were saying. I do not have near the amount of miles you do, but I am already itching for a rear sway bar. I am hinting that is what I want for chrismazwanzica and my b-day.

So. I hit 430 miles today!

I feel so pathetic. However, I did take Miles through some twisties. Short, but switchbacks, wet weather, and narrow roads, all this to a city park, no less! That was fun!

Back from Highlands

I have passed my break-in. Did 700 miles this weekend and now I don't need to hold back.

Hooked up with Gr8Force and ran the roads in Highlands that I've always wanted to run with a car like a MINI. Now I did it!! We were standing in front of a waterfall when another MINI drove by. Long story short, we put all three MINI's under the water fall. GR8Force, how about posting a picture??

It looks like SuperFlySarah04 is going to be the anchor person for our elite group (first '06's). Good Luck and let us see the car.

Picked up my PW MCC this morning, and these photos are directly after leaving the dealership, before heading home for first mods. The interior is all-dark (anthracite and black octagon cloth) for maximum contrast, and it worked out nicely.

Ok, now that I've gotten a few yah-yah's out of my system and enough time to run down the role call, here's an update of those who are members of this elite run. If your status is marked as unknown I may have missed your post of your delivery. Sorry. Just let us know the date you did take delivery. Some of you I know took delivery in Oct. but I could not figure out the exact date. Again, just let us know. We did pick up a few more since that first list so that was awesome to find out as I was digging back through every post. -whew!- Anyone got a great story to tell since they took delivery? More picks? If they're in your gallery just let us know. Lord, knows I've posted quite a few picks in my gallery.

RKW,

Looks great. What kind of mods do you have planned? This is the first PW convertible I have seen.

I'm getting increasingly fond of the PW/B cars. Not necessarily for me, but I definitely like its look.

Got my first wave on the freeway from another motorer!

Where did you order the tail lights and black grille from? Is the grille just a replacement for the chrome upper grille? I'm going to be ordering a Cooper in the next few months and that chrome grille is the only thing I don't like about the exterior. I'd love to get a black one to match my black roof! I've seen the tail lights online before, but can't remember where. I should start listing (maybe ordering ) this stuff!

Phinneus is among us!

YEA! We picked up our new baby today. Healthy, happy and adjusting to life in Seattle. Our day at Northwest Mini was a blast, they treated us great. We're driving to Whistler, BC this weekend for our first roadtrip. Country-hopping MINI!

Whoo Hoo!!! Phinneus has arrived! -finally- That's one great looking MINI SFS! Congrats and it's very obvious that you're one happy camper. That grin is going to last quite a while. I think that's the second best looking MINI in this group. Of course I'm just a little biased. I look forward to seeing some great pics from the weekend trip. Enjoy and be safe.

Great looking MINI, SuperFlySarah. And the driver looks great, also. I'll bet it will take a month to get that smile off! The PW is my wife's favroite color. Like Gr8Force, I want to see some pictures. Maybe you can be the Miss November in the new NAM photo contest.

As a side note, my neighbor was all set to buy a Miata, but after riding in my MINI, he has gone to the dealer today to order his PW/PW MCS. Look what the power of MINI's have over the world.

I sure will be......
I am loving every minute in this car. I can't get over how fun it is to drive. I sat in the notorius Seattle traffic today with a smile on my face the whole time.
BTW, not only did I get the MINI mints, but I also got the key chain and some wheel locks thrown in too. I just had to buy some other MINI paraphenalia too! I will be sporting a MINI tee and sweatshirt whilst motoring.

For the black grille, I recommend that you read through this thread: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=48483. My post #46 in the thread has the part numbers and prices. The Euro tail lights can be ordered from newministuff.com: https://www.newministuff.com/new/sho...products&cat=1. They are available with either amber or white indicator (turn) lenses. The one with a white lens uses an amber bulb.

I think NW MINI gives them to all their new owners. I have mine stored in my glovebox.
