Mark asked me to write a description for the event. I told him we'd like to use the ball field at Fontana. No one has checked with Fontana, so I hope it's available . Right now we only have 11 Little Dragons, so I hope putting it on the event planner will let others know to come.

Here is what we have going on so far:
BlimeyCabrio is bringing a MINI banner and markers
Kamofrogg is possibly bringing some MINI coloring sheets and crayons
gwylliongirl mentioned something about colorable bumper stickers. Can you bring Sharpies too?

I'd like to do a water balloon toss, but I don't know how we'll fill the balloons. Any suggestions?

We can play Red Rover, have a 3 legged race, a sack race, play freeze tag for older kids and duck-duck-goose for the little ones. Any other ideas for games? Since each kid is getting surprizes to take home, there shouldn't be prizes for the games. We'll just play for fun.

I thought we could also have an Egg hunt. We'd need a lot of eggs, filled with candy or gum. I thought this would be a great way to give away the two special prizes that Snooter is bringing. We place a "winner" paper in two of the eggs. This is a great time of year to get cheap plastic eggs. If this task is too much for one person, maybe we can get several volunteers to bring a couple dozen filled eggs each. I'd be up for bringing some. I can also bring some paper bags for the kids to decorate for the egg hunt.

What we need:
Bandanas for the three-legged race
Old pillow cases for the sack race
Water balloons???
Candy filled eggs

Here are some easy game ideas:

- Bottle Battle: One minute to try to fill up a bottle with water using a spoon.

- Frisbee Toss: Three tries to toss a foam Frisbee at or through a large target.

- Marble Grab: Kids have 30 seconds to try to pick up as many marbles as possible using their toes!

- Ball Hug Race: Each child will place a ball between his/her knees and race to the opposite line and back again. Use a smaller ball for the younger children.

- Jump Rope Challenge: Jump rope for 30 seconds without missing.

- Scoop Race: Be the first to fill up you container with water.

- Hang out the Laundry: Partner event. Take an item to the tub and run to the clothesline and hang it up. Run back and tag your partner. Continue for one minute.

- Hula Hoop Contest: 30 seconds to keep the hula hoop going.

- Golf Ball/Cotton Ball Race: Balance a golf ball or Cotton Ball on a spoon. Race to the finish line without the ball falling off.

I'd be happy to help with the plastic eggs.

What? No event to see which team of kids can claybar and wax a MINI the fastest?

I would love to bring bumper stickers, if that's not too much coloring to do in one afternoon! If its possible to send mike@aestheticreations.net an uncolored outline of the amazing little dragons t-shirt design we can do that. I can do Sharpies too.

And the water balloons. I'll fill them up in our room before lugging them down to the field.

I have some old pillow cases I can bring as well. OK, I only have 3, but I have 1 kid so that's 2 extra.

How do the colorable bumper stickers work? Aren't they too slick for markers to adhere?

LMK if you need help hauling water baloons as well - I'm good for toting heavy bales.

We can bring a couple of old pillow cases. I thought about using the ones from our room, but I didn't think the good people at Fontana would appreciate that!

I can't answer your question about the uncolored outline of the shirt. If we can get hold of the MINI coloring pages, and it ends up being too much coloring, we can just send those home with the rest of their loot.

If we have less than 20 kids, then the water balloons shouldn't be too much of an issue. Thanks for offering to do them.

I just tried it and the sharpee wipes right off the vinyl. So I guess that is out! I'll talk to Mike tonight and see what our other options are.

I'm sure you all could adjust the logo that will be on the shirts or make a new one to add on to a removable bumper sticker although I'm not sure if the price is per sticker.

OK I just talked to the husband. We can print the stickers the way they were designed and just give them out to the participants. Then you won't have to order them from Oriental Trading Company. If you'd like to do that, just send the file you were given for the shirts (the largest size you have).

Matt has the image, so hopefully he'll check this thread and get it to you today. I ordered a roll of Union Jack flag stickers, and given the price, I had low expectations. They are great! They worked out to be only .01 each (plus shipping). I thought the kids could use these to decorate their loot bags. Kids love stickers.

I don't think it's wrong, I think Zazzle is down for the moment. Check back later today. I tried to go directly there, and it woudn't let me do that either.

Trust me it's wrong.

I know Zazzle has been up and down, however, the URL on the reg page:

<https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/www.zazzle.com/imagox/products>

should be

http://www.zazzle.com/imagox/products

Yes - the Zazzle URL is the correct one. I can't get to Zazzle at the moment either so they must be down right now.

Yes, but the address in the link on the reg page here:

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...tle&eventid=60

is this

<https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/www.zazzle.com/imagox/products>

It needs changed!

I sent a mail to Mark letting him know. In the meantime, if Zazzle fixes their issue, you can go directly there and place an order.

We are registered! Is there any way to show a count on how many kids are participating? I show as one registration but that represents 3 children.
